Nestled in the woods
4/5 We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was just big enough for three adults.
It was not clear to me in the listing that there are two bedrooms upstairs. The third one with the day bed is on the main floor. One full bathroom on each floor.
Being in the mountains, the Wi-Fi was very slow.
It was a 25-30 drive to downtown Golden.

Love this majestic place!
5/5 This was our second time staying at Crissy’s house. It’s perfect for us! So peaceful and serene. We love this property and will be back again hopefully in the summer.

5/5 This house was perfect! I'm so glad we went with this property after looking at so many others online. The location was perfect as well! We love the Golden area. Planning on moving there within the next year or two and have decided on the Golden area.
We saw a large brown bear in the woods behind the house/deck about 40 yards back. Then a few days later my son and his girlfriend saw a brown bear cub in the driveway. Crissy (owner) sent us the video of the bear cub from her Ring camera. So COOL!! We saw many chipmunks, birds, woodpeckers. Maybe next time we'll see a moose.
Thank you Crissy for allowing us to have a late check out so we could enjoy even more time on the deck with the serenity before we flew back home that evening and back to reality! Crissy was a great host!
We will be back!!
Coal creek cabin
5/5 Our stay was amazing, no mice like some reviews, contacted me to let me know we could check in early that day(which worked out great for us),driveway is steep we had a 15 passenger van and did just fine in august however with th curve of the drive 4 wheel would be needed in winter months, plenty of natural light and a stream running by the house 10/10 would stay again
