We recently stayed at this property for 6 nights with a group of 10 people. While the cabin was spacious and the location was nice, there were some issues that detracted from our overall experience.
Cleanliness was a significant concern. We found a pair of dirty underwear in one of the closets, and some of the pillows and sheets had stains and unpleasant odors. Additionally, there weren’t enough towels for our group—only 9 were provided for 10 people, and no extras were available. Supplies like toilet paper were also insufficient for a 6-night stay, and we had to purchase more.
Access to the property was initially stressful as the front door keypad wasn’t functional due to missing batteries, and the provided garage code was incorrect. Although the property representative responded quickly (within 2 minutes), it was frustrating, especially in extreme cold. Throughout the stay, relying on the garage and basement for entry was inconvenient.
Overall, while we enjoyed our holiday, there is room for improvement, particularly with cleanliness and ease of access. With some attention to these details, this property could provide a much better guest experience.
Property location is great - quick lake path access, short drive downtown Frisco and walkable grocery stores. Spacious home with plenty of room for our extended family. Kitchen is well stocked.
Can’t give this home a full five stars because communication with property manager was not good. I asked a few questions about amenities that would affect what we packed. I didn’t get responses to most my questions and the ones I did were wrong. Sharing the info here for other renters. Yes, there is a pack and play. Yes, you can walk the SUP (there are two) or kayaks (there are two) to the lake and put in near the path’s small bridge. There is a wheelie cart that makes it super easy! There are life jackets to borrow as well. Hope this helps others who might be wondering the same.
