  There was not hot water to shower for our entire stay on Mothers Day Weekend!!! There was a power outage a few days before we arrived and they did not reset the hot water prior to our arrival. When calling and texting the guest contact, my calls were forwarded and text messages were ignored. The hot tub was not serviced before our arrival, the hot tub technician showed up when we did (just my sister and I) and he scared us! We had no idea why there was a strange man on the porch when the guest contact said the hot tub had already been serviced..she lied! There was no toilet paper, no firewood, the blankets in the living room were dirty and had dried up food stuck to them, there were pee spots all over the carpet in the bedrooms upstairs and it smelled pretty awful! Do not let the beautiful pictures fool you, this place was disgusting and the owner and guest contact do not care about their guest! DISGUSTING!!

  Hi June, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - There are clear instructions on the refrigerator magnet for how to reset the hot water heater following a power outage. We're sorry this wasn't clearer during your stay. Had we been made aware we would have promptly responded and been happy to help.
  - The guest contact was temporarily unavailable due to an unexpected medical issue. We have since added our contact information so future guests have multiple ways to reach someone if needed.
  - The hot tub technician was scheduled based on a standard 4:00 check-in. Since you arrived early, the visit overlapped, we're sorry that caused any confusion or concern.
  - The home was fully stocked with several cords of firewood before recent guest stays, and we confirmed there was firewood available during your stay.
  - We will address the concerns you raised about the blankets, carpeting, and supplies to ensure everything meets expectations moving forward.
  Thanks again for your feedback, it helps us make each stay better than the last.

• Girls weekend/Bachelorette Trip

  We stayed here for my little bachelorette weekend before I get married in 45 days and enjoyed the views, hot tub and house overall. Kristi and Joe were super helpful with any issues or questions we had during our stay. The beds were very comfortable as well.I ended up leaving some items there and they were so kind to ship them to me. Breckenridge is only a 30 minute drive too!

• Quiet cozy cabin on beautiful property

  We had a nice stay here. The land is beautiful, great mix of open space, pines, and aspens. Plenty of room for the dog to run without being close to any neighbors. Great view from the upstairs balcony and the gazebo, we also enjoyed the hot tub. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels. The kitchen is exceedingly well stocked (which is good because dining is very limited in Fairplay).
