Great staging point!
5/5 We had a great stay! Cabin is new and well appointed; although cooking is always an adventure at 11,000 feet. We used it as a staging point to get to Pennsylvania Mountain (trailhead up the road), Fairplay, Breckenridge, Mt. Sherman, and Hoosier Pass. We went down to Beaver Creek at sundown to see beavers and moose.
The road is busier than we would have thought. There are a lot of people living on this mountain!
