Location in beautiful area.. house had plenty of room for all…
Problem with grill and outside propane firepit.
Perhaps these should’ve been looked at prior to us coming in for the stay to make sure that they worked properly. I was also hoping to use the patio heater on the deck, but that did not have propane in it either. Perhaps they were in the garage, however, it would seem that the management company should’ve had that already and set for us before we arrived . I know Pat was trying to help us with the grill, but we weren’t able to get it going any better.

Our group was very pleased with our experience at High Creek Hideaway. The home was super clean, comfortable and well equipped for our group of 11. We especially appreciated the heated mattresses in the basement (our kids slept really well!), the extra supply of soft blankets, and the big dining table that fit everyone in our group during meals. Our kids were absolutely thrilled to discover the hidden "TV room." The owner was extremely helpful over the phone when I had a question about the outdoor grill. We hope to return some day to this special property.
We came to Fairplay for a wedding. We had 12 guest with us. The home was beautiful. Just 5 min outside of FairPlay. Plenty of beds for everyone plus additional beds that were never used. We enjoyed the many amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked!

We loved this cabin in the woods. We held a small family reunion from three states and we had plenty of space to spread out. The table was very long, perfect for us, but the kitchen was a little tight. We didn’t use the sauna, but it was a fun option. We loved having the pickleball/tennis court available- it was the highest elevation we’ve ever played pickleball! There were a lot of nearby beautiful walks/hikes and it was easy to get to Mt Sherman or Quandary from here to do a 14er. The kitchen amenities were very nice (huge Viking stove). There was an extra refrigerator in the garage, which was also helpful. The owner was very nice and accommodating, and was in contact frequently. If you would like to fish, there are several ponds in the neighborhood that are stocked with trout. We also used the gas fire pit to roast marshmallows.Highly recommend this cabin! We loved it here.
