We’ve now stayed in this property twice and we love the views, location near the town, feeling of safety, and the fact it’s very clean and well maintained. Kids loved board games and the many TV streaming options.
The unit was very clean. This is not a review to the cleaning company. They clearly did their best. You can only clean so much before you need to replace and update things.
Deck is nice but very close to other tenants and they will walk by frequently very close to the deck, so not private at all.
My concerns have to do with how worn out many of the furnishings are considering the price. It’s an older building so when we arrived the condo smelled like an old pub or restaurant. Very unfresh. It would benefit from a deep rug cleaning, new couches and fresh paint. Very cheap curtain rods and curtains.
The pullout couch mattress is uninhabitable, so it’s a good unit for 4 people, not 6. Extra blankets have stains and hairs. There is a natural gas smell every time the water heater is initiated and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the owners install a carbon monoxide detector if that hasn’t been done. I did a quick glance and never found one. Glass shower leaks water, so prepare for cleaning water up. Bottom line, the price point is way too high for the experience and this unit is running on location. Lots of people have stayed here and it needs a fresh update to justify ~$300 per night once all fees and cleaning is paid for.
