  House is great. Lots of directions and instructions around the house. We had to wash some clean stuff before use. Example: a few pans, a scrapper , a blender and towels in the downstairs bathroom. They smelled mildewy. The house overall was clean, just maybe needs a deep clean. Easy check in, good location for wedding we attended. Communication is best by email but good. Such a lovely house. The owners have taken lots of pride in this wonderful house. I am a retired housekeeper so maybe i was a little picky about the cleaning.

  Deborah, thanks for the comments. I’m sorry to hear there were some questionable items’ cleanliness. We provide blenders and other appliances for guests to use but it is up to them to clean them before putting them away. Our house cleaner will clean any dirty appliances or cookware left out, but she obviously can’t check every spatula or item that has been put away. New towels and face cloths are put out after every guest, so I’m not sure about what you found. Our house cleaner does a fabulous job in cleaning the house and we have never had any complaints about cleanliness. Actually, just the opposite. Guests normally rave about the condition of the house. This can be noted in other reviews.

  This house is located in the most perfect location. Easy drive to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Broadmoor, downtown, Old Colorado City, etc. Just walking the neighborhood had AMAZING views. Grass was a little long in the backyard, so our dogs didn’t really want to run around, but everything else was PERFECT. Kitchen was also well stocked. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Colorado Springs.

  Comfortable, inviting, small touches, great yard, dog wash!, everything we needed and more, safe, great neighborhood, close to parks and sites, responsive hosts, beautiful, will come again.
