  We come to Colorado every summer and this property instantly became one of our favorites! We loved that there were so many outdoor spaces to enjoy, including several decks with no shortage of seating options and tables, seating areas in the front and on the side of the house, and a riverside deck with bar-height seating, lounge chairs, and dining table. The house was very well-stocked — probably the best we’ve seen. The grill was very clean and worked well. The house has a circle drive with plenty of room. The owners were very sweet and responded quickly to questions. We’ve stayed in other rentals that outsource their communication to a call center but we greatly appreciate that this was not the case here. For those with mobility issues, there is a king bedroom on the main floor, another on the bottom floor, and two twin beds in an upstairs loft; the main floor has a sunken living/dining area but the eat-in bar is not sunken; the laundry room is downstairs; and stairs are required to get to the river. That being said, my elderly mother, who walks with a cane, was able to get around just fine, with the exception of getting to the river. She needed assistance to do that and decided once was enough. We all loved our time here and definitely hope to be back!

  The house was wonderful, right on the Arkansas River, with great views out of every window! The homeowners were very responsive. They clearly love and enjoy their home, and wanted to be sure we did too. We did!

  Exceptional property! Lots of sitting areas for settling in with a book, TV, or great conversation. Kitchen is well stocked for those who choose to cook. The multiple decks overlooking the river are the perfect place to relax. Unfortunately for us, it rained and/or was too cold to enjoy the decks this trip. But we will be back!

  The property is fantastic given its location right on the river. The lower deck was great to enjoy drinks and apps before dinner. It also allowed the wives to read in the loungers while the husbands were fly fishing right there in sight. So they got to experience the excitement of catching a few nice trout. The kitchen is extremely well stocked not only with utensils and appliances, but also with spices/oils. Easy drive into Buena Vista and close to multiple hikes to lakes/waterfalls. We all wished we were staying longer and hope to return someday.

• Most awesome place to stay!

  We have stayed at this place a couple of times now. We love it. It is very relaxing setting on the deck and listening to the river rush by. The rooms are great, very clean. Can't say enough about it. We would definitely stay here again.
