  The home that we stayed in was lovely. Comfortable and

  Beautiful, modern living spaces, right on the golf course. Nice quiet street, great for kids, well furnished with dishware, silverware, appliances and bedding. The room Bunk Room Downstairs was perfect for another couple or family with a full couch and television, outside deck in addition to the four bunks. My only complaint is we were under the impression that we would be able to use the facilities at Tahoe Donner, free or at a reduced rate. But the membership just got us into the pool and the lake and the pickle ball courts. The prices were rather high, $20 a person to visit the pool or the lake. They were all very crowded so get there very early if you want a seat! But that is our only complaint. everything was lovely! The owner, John, when I contacted to see if we could get in earlier or leave later, was very accommodating and friendly. I also had to contact evolve about a question and they too we’re extremely friendly and helpful. We have no complaints really it was a great time.

  Excellent stay. We had a wonderful time. The property was clean and exactly as promised. Much better than past experiences at other locations. The owner was responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this location.

• Perfect Stay for 3 Families

  We would highly recommend the cabin on Norse. Our 3 families, with 8 children - all under 7 years old, had a fantastic stay. The entire cabin was clean, well-organized, and comfortably set up. The upstairs and downstairs were nicely separated so we could have adult time while the kids played downstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to celebrate some birthdays. Groceries and restaurants were nearby. Tahoe Donner activities were within a 5 minute drive - making it easy to go back and forth. John was always available to help. There is an online manual that is a must read. We used the Tahoe Donner guest passes for skiing and tubing/sledding. What we did not know was that there is a giant field beyond the trees covered in snow behind the house. We had brought our own sleds and enjoyed some free sledding in the backyard before we left. The kids wanted to stay for another week!

• A Truly Amazing Property

  This property is nothing short of incredible. From the smart touch light switches the spare propane tank for the grill, these homeowners have thought of every detail and have included it. We have stayed at dozens of properties. This was the nicest, most well laid out, well equipped property we have ever stayed at. The electronic “manual” for the house has every detail I could have ever imagined. The house is too nice to be a rental, honestly. My wife and I both looked at each other when we walked in and said, “I couldn’t rent this out if I owned it, too nice!”The only thing I could even think of that would be remotely close to a complaint was it would have been nice to have some ice melt provided for the driveway, as it was pretty slick after I shoveled the 3” of snow that was waiting for us upon arrival. If you are having to reach that far to find something (anything) wrong, there is a million things right. We would stay here again in a New York minute!

We do have a snow plow service so it sounds like you and your family arrived between a good storm and the service plowing the driveway. With that said, it's a great suggestion to add some snow melt for guest use. Consider it done! We will have a can of snow melt in the garage for all of our guests.
