Great place, great view
5/5 We really enjoyed our stay, it’s very close to town and overlooks Donner. My only negative is the e pillows on the bed are not very comfortable, so bring your own if you can.

Don’t plan on getting sleep
3/5 The house was nice enough, clean and nice view of Donner Lake. However, the noise from the freeway was extremely loud and prevented sleep. During the day it wasn’t so noticeable given ambient noise from tv etc but once retiring for the evening, it was almost impossible to get to sleep.

Road noise
3/5 While the property is roomy with a fantastic view of Donner lake , its proximity to the highway makes it extremely noisy at all times . Not the cleanest either.Very strange there aren’t any outdoor decks. As we were there in winter this was ok but I would never rent in summer without outdoor space to enjoy . Also , The person in the downstairs 2nd bedroom has to run up and down steep stairs to bathroom or walk through the master to access . Very inconvenient .
