  We stayed here with our 11 year old twins. Location was good for us: we had a great time going to Kiva beach, hiking at Emerald Bay and Echo Lake, kayaking and playing mini golf. The home was clean and welcoming. We cooked meals here without any issues.We hope to come back someday!

  Our stay could not have been better. The description of the home was spot on. Actually, we have never seen a cleaner property. It was walking distance to everything we wanted plus more. Our host gave us information on other events and was ever so helpful before and during our stay. Great location!

• Christmas Valley and the river

  Excellent host, very responsive, helpful, and willing to make our stay enjoyable. The house is located in a wonderful area of South Lake, across the street from the Upper Truckee River, and near the heart of Meyers.With biking and hiking trails all around within walking distances, the summer activities are plentiful. In the winter, Heavenly and Sierra at Tahoe are only a short drive away.The home was great for our 2 dogs as the backyard is fenced in to let them run on their own. Well sized rooms, clean and updated bathrooms and comfortable beds. Would recommend for a family of 4-6 or 3 couples.

• Clean, comfortable house

  We had a great stay. The house was super clean, it was nice to be able to park in the garage (no defrosting the car in the morning!). Heating worked well.

  Kitchen had all the basics (no pantry items aside from salt and pepper). Note the fireplace is a gas, not wood one.

  Some baby/toddler toys were available.

  We enjoyed our stay, and would absolutely choose this rental again.

• Clean and Comfortable

  There were 3 bedrooms, but we were only two couples with a dog. The house was perhaps too large for us but it's always a challenge to find pet-friendly accommodations. Thank you for accepting dogs and it was a clean and comfortable place without a hint of past furry friends. The place was spotless! The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. The WiFi router had to be unplugged and restarted to work, but we finally got it to work. We used the many available Apps on the TV to log into our account. The Murphy bed in the large kitchen/living room was odd. Basically, if you wanted to be like college students and have a dorm-setting vacation, ten people could stay there but why is that even a possibility? The couch was ridiculously large and we pushed away the massive ottoman so the sofa didn't feel like a bed. The house begs for a hot tub in the back yard.
