• Good from far but far from good

  When I first checked in, I noticed a very foul odor coming from the home. Durning my five day stay that odor did not go away. The carpets and walls had huge visible stains all over the home. The second bedroom upstairs had a nasty stain on the bed sheet. Once I stepped into master I noticed the screen door was broken on the balcony floor. The patio light bulbs were burnt out. I found spare bulbs in the closet and changed it myself. The stairway to the main door is broken and a huge liability for a injury waiting to happen. The bbq grill was so filthy the gas was not coming out the lines. I spend 30min cleaning it to get the flame to perk up. My host Crystal was very responsive for my concerns but nothing could have been done on her end to accommodate these issues. I was pretty much stuck with this home given Labor Day weekend and no other homes available. I would hope that evolve actually goes out and inspects the homes they are renting out.

  Hi Arin, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review:
  - The screen door in the master bedroom had fallen off its track but it was a quick fix. It’s now securely reattached so future guests won’t experience the same issue.
  - The BBQ grill was inspected both before and after your stay, and no issues were found. Additionally, no other guests have reported problems with it.
  - While a patio light bulb had burned out, we do provide spare bulbs in the home for guest convenience, and we’re glad our guest contact was able to guide you to them quickly.
  - The carpets have been professionally cleaned, though there are a few permanent spots that could not be removed. We are exploring options to address these, and the scuffs on the stairwell will be touched up as part of ongoing maintenance.
  - No foul odors have been reported before or since your stay by any guests or the guest contact.
  We take great pride in the service and accommodations we provide, as reflected in the numerous five-star reviews we’ve received from past guests. While negative reviews can impact our property owners, we’re confident that future guests will recognize the quality of this home and enjoy an excellent stay.

  House had everything we needed for two families of 4! Parking was easy and the house was centrally located.

• First Time to Tahoe

  First time family to Tahoe. Location of home is perfect. Not far from everything. Home is beautiful. Spacious, wife and kids loved it. Even had a chance to see a bear walk right across the driveway! Scary!

  We were able to check in a few hours before, so that was awesome. Got to check out an hour later. So that helped with not having to rush.

  My family and I would stay here again!

  This home was amazing. We all truly enjoyed staying at this gorgeous home for 2 nights. The kitchen was very well stocked and lots of seating for our whole family. We loved the heated floors throughout, all the upgrades and the fireplace. The location was perfect, close to Heavenly Village and Pioneer Trail, gave us easy access. They even had sleds in the garage for the kids. There was great hills behind the home to sled on also, we did not need to go else where. All the beds upstairs were very comfy, the only bed that was not comfortable was the down stairs full bed off the family room. I would definitely rent this home again and refer to friends. The host also was wonderful, she helped with many questions I had. Thank you !!
