- This 2-story home requires steps for entry. Additional stairs are required to reach the 2nd-floor bedroom and patio
- 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is recommended in the winter months to access the town. Once once in the Tahoe Basin, roads are clear. 4WD or 2WD with chains are both sufficient for the drive into Tahoe. Guests should be prepared for driving in snow/inclement weather
- This 3-bedroom property has a strict maximum occupancy of 6. Due to El Dorado County regulations, the number of overnight occupants is limited to two people per bedroom
- The property has ceiling fans but does not offer A/C
- Please be aware that there is limited cell service in the valley, please ensure to make all arrangements and requests before arriving at the property. Some carries are fine like Verizon & AT&T, it's only certain carries that may have limited cell service
- Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is on the front door facing the entryway and camera 2 is in the driveway facing the driveway, street, and neighbor’s homes. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion

- Area rangers strictly enforce all Vacation Rental ordinances (parking, noise violations, camping, etc). If a citation is received, the guest will be responsible for paying both guest and owner citations, up to $2,000 
- To avoid citations, follow all community rules as outlined in the Welcome Book and observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 PM
- Please note: you must only park in designated spaces (paved driveway, carport or parking lot). Vehicles are not allowed to park on the street
- Camping on the property is not allowed
- No open flame regulation including firepits and charcoal grills

CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check in after 3:00 PM
- Once you arrive at the property, drive up the driveway and walk up the deck stairs
- The property is accessible keyless entry. The code is 1001
- To enter, briefly place your hand over the pad and the pad will illuminate, enter the code then press the 'checkmark' to unlock the deadbolt
- To lock, close the door, place your hand over the pad, then it will lock
- Please inform the Guest Contact of any problems or concerns upon arrival, so we can work to address these immediately

CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check out before 10:00 AM
- Prior to your departure, please tidy up the property by doing the following:
- Remove all perishable items
- All trash must be placed in the bear-proof receptacles in the driveway. The key to the bin is on the side of the receptacle. Please do not place any trash inside the garage or leave food inside your vehicles
- Leave all slept in beds unmade
- Place all used towels in a pile in the laundry room
- Ensure the thermostat is set to '55 AUTO', not the fan setting
- Please be sure to promptly clean up and dispose of all pet waste
- Turn off all lights, electronics, and appliances
- Close and lock all windows and doors
- Additional fees will be imposed if the property is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition in which you found it

HOUSE RULES:
- No smoking
- Pet friendly with a fee (1 max, dogs only). If you wish to bring a dog but have not yet paid the mandatory pet fee, please reach out to Evolve immediately
- No events, parties, or large gatherings
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- Do not touch the snowblower in the garage. It is a potentially dangerous piece of equipment, so the homeowner hires a professional snow-removal service for your safety and convenience
- Never leave food in vehicles or outside of the house anywhere (even in coolers) due to wildlife (bears). Always lock car doors
- A school bus drives down Santa Claus Lane, thus it is critical the route stays clear
- The property contains an electrical barking dog used to scare away bears
- Leave the cover on the pool table under the ping pong table for protection when not in use. Please have adequate help with putting the ping pong table on the pool table. It takes at least 2 people
- Put games and puzzles back together after each use for the convenience of future guests
- Please report any damages that occur to both the Guest Contact and Evolve
