• Perfect for large group

  The property is definitely older with creaks and old lighting that requires TLC to turn on. My husband said that added to its charm. We had a group of 9 that this accomodated well. Cute and adequate kitchen. House did get cooler towards the back bedroom areas. Plenty of amenities provoded. Iron, soaps, hair prodicts, pantry items, extra toiletries and even baby gear (which we didn't need but is thoughtful for guests who do). We didn't need to contact the host but seemed like plenty of info was provided on how if we had needed to.

  -The bathroom light switch requires a bit of extra pressure to operate, but all other light switches are modern and function smoothly with a standard up-and-down motion.
  -The wood floors upstairs may have a slight creak, which is typical for wooden flooring in elevated areas. This natural characteristic adds to the home's charm and is not indicative of any structural issues.

• Short stay with young family

  I stayed with my wife and 3 small children ages 2-7. We were very happy with the apartment and we're impressed with the setup with board games and toys that we didn't expect. The neighborhood was amazingly quiet for the city and close to public transport.

• Short stay with young family while transiting San Francisco

  We stayed with our young children, ages 7, 5 and 2. Really positive experience with lots of unexpected additional items eg board games, beach toys. Freya supplied some breakfast and offered optional laundry and other things we didn't expect. Freya was easy to communicate with and allowed us to store our bags securely after check out which was really convenient given we had an evening flight. Overall very happy with our stay

  This was an older unit but a generous size for the city. We enjoyed being walking distance to the shops and staying in the sunset.

  Host was responsive and accommodating.

  Well within our budget, and easy to walk and bus where we wanted to go.

  A bit of a quirky layout with lots of sleeping options, but no real seating to speak of.

The sleep spaces are listed in the photos and as far as seating, as pictured there is a full couch in the living room, a big chair in the living room along with thigh-high stools to sit on. The King bedroom has a desk and chair to sit on as well as a chest to sit on or place luggage. No seating in Queen or Twin bedrooms."
