The house we rented in Manchester was lovely. It provided plenty of space and was well-stocked with supplies, kitchen appliances and goods. We loved the encouragement to feed the blue jays, which we did. It was fun to see them swoop down to grab the peanuts. The views from the deck were beautiful and the hot tub was much appreciated on cool nights. We were there to celebrate 33 years of marriage so we enjoyed the peaceful nature of the neighborhood. The house is situated close to Point Arena, a cute little town, and not too far from the Mendocino coastline, which we love. We took advantage of the guest pass to Irish Beach and enjoyed our visit there too. The local grocery/hardware store was pretty well stocked and there were some wonderful organic and gluten-free options in Point Arena as well as the delicious offerings at Bird Cafe where we went for our anniversary dinner. All in all, we loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return at some future point.
