This is my 2nd time staying at Basecamp. My first stay was really amazing, but since that first stay a couple of years ago, this place has really upgraded! Love all the new furniture. I appreciate the effort that the host Jason puts into ensuring we have a seamless, relaxing place to get some rest and hang out after my group hits the slopes. Looking forward to staying here again in the future :)
Our group of 9 adults couldn't have picked a better place for a mammoth snowboard trip. We weren't able to ride much due to a massive blizzard closing the mountain, but we were so happy to spend time together in this beautiful 3-story condo.
The owner was accommodating beyond expectations and communicated quickly. No questions were left unanswered.
The space was beautifully designed giving very modern Socal vibes. Everything was high quality making for a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. We slept 9 adults comfortably across the three bedrooms thanks to the third floor bedroom that has 3 beds (King, Queen, twin) and a daybed.
Master bedroom and third bedroom would easily fit an air mattress if desired.
The kitchen was so nice! I was hesitant at first because I wanted a kitchen table, but the large kitchen island and chairs was very spacious fitting up to 12 around the island. It was also a great size for board games and drinking games.
The location is so good! Literally 1 building away from the village gondola which can be seen from multiple places throughout the house. Being in the village, everything is walkable. We did drive to Vons for full groceries but everything else we got at Busy Bees in the village. There's restaurants, bars, distilleries, stores, and more all within walking distance.
The garage parking was so clutch for us considering we were there during the blizzard. Our vehicles remained snow/ice free! And the slightly steep driveway leading to the garage had to have been heated, because it remained clear a dry during the blizzard when everything else was covered in snow.
The ski lockers were convenient, but we could only fit 6 snowboards in the 2 lockers. We put the rest on one of the balconies.
The balconies were free of snow when we arrived and didn't accumulate much even though it was a blizzard because they were covered. The grill should be useable in any weather conditions.
The only downside to this unit is the very tight spiral staircase to get between levels. If you struggle with stairs I wouldn't recommend this place. That said, there's is an elevator in the property and the has an entrance from the lower and main levels, so a handicap person could get between those two levels if needed.
I would absolutely stay here again in the future if it is available. And I can't express how great the owner, Jason, was on our trip. He went above and beyond to make our stay the absolute best!
Very nice condo & great location
