    First off the picture show nothing of what the place actually looks like!

    The condo is old and well-used in many areas. Here is a list. I have pictures to support this.

    1. The cleanliness is superficial, particularly the carpet and around the windows.

    2. Carpet has burn spots near the stove.

    3. The majority of the blinds are broken beyond repair.

    4. Kitchen cabinets below sink have broken doors and missing hardware.

    5. Water pressure in the kitchen is almost non-existent for both hot and cold.

    6. Easy-chair is broken into a semi-reclined position and was unusable.

    7. Dining table and chairs are heavily scratched, but usable.

    8. Remotes with dead batteries (did not replace).

    9. I would suggest checking the smoke detectors. None of them are flashing to show they are operational.

    10. Multiple light bulbs missing or burned-out.

    11. Upstairs bathroom sink faucet "shoots" a stream of water due to bad seal.

    12. I don't know where they purchased them, but the commodes are pre-school size and difficult for adults. There is room for adult toilets.

    13. Didn't create a problem, but could...the shower doors in both bathrooms are installed backwards.

    14. A nice addition in the upstairs would be a ceiling fan.

    Hi Robert, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
    - Thanks for sharing your detailed feedback and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. First, we would like to confirm that the listing photos were recent, and not doctored in any way.
    - We wish you'd reached out if there were any issues you needed resolved. We provided two phone numbers in the pre-stay information and, unfortunately, didn't hear from you during your visit.
    - We've already addressed many of the concerns you mentioned, and we're working diligently to resolve the remaining ones, including the cabinets and dining set.
    - The cleanliness of the carpets and around the windows has been improved, and the burn spots near the stove have been treated.
    - We checked the vertical blinds prior to your stay, and there were two broken blinds that were removed for safety reasons, but didn't affect coverage of the sliding door. We ordered new curtains to replace the blinds but they weren't delivered before your stay.
    - The water pressure issue is a town issue and we're working on addressing this.
    - We checked the reclining chair and have confirmed that it's not broken. We're sorry you didn't like the design of the chair.
    - We've replaced the batteries in all the remotes. All smoke detectors were checked and we've confirmed are in working order. They emit an audible chirp when the batteries are low and don't have a light.
    - The missing and burned-out bulbs have been replaced and the upstairs bathroom sink faucet has also been fixed to ensure proper water flow.
    - The toilets are standard-sized, and the shower doors have been checked by an engineer and are indeed installed correctly. They're parallel sliding doors, and you can simply slide one door to the right, and one door to the left to close the shower/tub.
    - While there were two portable fans for use throughout the condo, we've added an additional fan upstairs. The structure of the high ceiling upstairs won't accommodate a ceiling fan.
    We appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve and help this homeowner provide guests with the outstanding service they're known for.

    The place was bare minimum. It's ok place. There was some pro but more cons. Overall place needs some updates.

    I'll start with the pros:

    - When emailing the owner, they were quick to response about questions.

    - Location was good, parking was good.

    - Place had sleds for the kids, and it was right next to a basketball court which was super convenient when it's covered in snow so play.

    Cons:

    - Water system was awkward, it would get really hot and the faucets was loose. Hard to control the tempetures.

    - Kitchen: Stove wasn't fully functioning, was easy to cook on, kitchen sink was low pressure water.

    - Sliding door windows: blinds were missing, not easy to close / open.

    - Towels: there were some brown spots on the white towels. Not sure if they were properly wash along w/ other things.

    - Place isn't ready for an EV car if need to charge.

    Regarding the issues you encountered:

    We apologize for the inconvenience with the water system. The hot water knob was indeed loose but has now been fixed. Our shower knobs are designed with separate controls for hot and cold water for precise temperature adjustments. The knobs operate like traditional water faucets, turning them one way increases the water pressure, and turning it the other way decreases the water pressure or shuts it off. We wish we had been informed during your stay to address this minor issue promptly.

    We understand the confusion with our new, high-tech stove. It features 15 different oven settings to cater to a wide range of cooking needs, which can be overwhelming without prior experience. We're considering creating a guide to help guests navigate its functions more easily.

    Water pressure in mountain locations like ours can indeed vary due to varying conditions such as ambient temperature and snow.

    Blinds: We verified the blinds are in working condition. Operating them requires twisting the wand to open the blinds before sliding the blinds over for full exposure.

    The condition of the towels you described is unacceptable, and we have addressed this concern with our cleaning service. We have verified that the towels were indeed cleaned, and the stains were purely cosmetic. However, we have requested the cleaning service to ensure all linens are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before guest arrival.

    Regarding EV charging, you're correct that our area currently has limited infrastructure for electric vehicles. This is a broader challenge in Mammoth Lakes.

    We hope these clarifications and steps we're taking demonstrate our commitment to providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We're grateful for your input and hope to have the opportunity to host you again with improvements that enhance your experience.

    The condo was clean, good location in town, and all accommodations you can expect at this price range. The owners can update/replace the silverware. Also make sure the balcony is clean before guest arrive. Other than we had a good experience staying at this condo.

    From the owner: "Hi George, it was a pleasure having you stay at our place Due to the record setting snow, the maintenance crew has been backed up all season and cannot get to cleaning all the balconies. The town is in a state of emergency, and all resources are directed to the public first. As soon as the town gets caught up with the snow removal, we will be able to direct those resources to the individual condo complexes, and in turn, to the individual units and their balconies. We ask that all guests exercise their patience this season as Mammoth Lakes has never had this much snow on record. The good thing is that looks like there will be skiing well into the summer in Mammoth Lakes!"
