Perfect place for a quick getaway
5/5 We wanted a quick getaway with my visiting family members. To accommodate our needs, we looked for a place that is mostly one-level and with minimal carpeting (to avoid allergy issues). 'Hiker's Escape' met all our requirements perfectly. The cabin never felt crowded even when all 7 humans and 1 dog were in the main area. As stated in the description, it's conveniently situated to many hiking trails. The closest grocery store, Mar-Val, is well stocked despite its small size. Just be aware that the cabin is in a private community that charges fees for guest vehicles.

5/5 We stayed at Hiker's Escape during a long weekend trip to Yosemite - two families with a total of 6 older teens. The home was well maintained and well-stocked, with everything we needed to cook three full dinners and breakfasts. The location was convenient for visiting Yosemite, and the development itself had plenty to see and do, with a small beach a nice short stroll away. The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive, and we appreciated the small thoughtful touches including the welcome basket of goodies and cold bottled water. Highly recommend!
