  Our son turned 10 and wanted to go to Big Bear to celebrate. Pan Dulce was able to accommodate our last minute reservation. We were able to check in a little early and settle into the cabin. We were so pleased with the amount of space we had and all of the accommodations it offered. We had planned to go out to the slopes the next day but were surprised by a snow storm! We had all been to the snow before but never experience it when it’s snowing. It was so magical. We ended up just staying at the cabin enjoying a home cooked meal, board games, and a movie. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Thank you for being a part of our son’s magical 10th birthday!

  Stayed here before and just needed a place to stay. Reached out to Peter and he was happy to provide me with a night. Just like I remembered it. Clean, comfy and quiet. Thats all I needed. Perfect night of rest!!

• Practically Perfect in Every Way!

  the house was very clean and had everything we needed. great location to enjoy the various activities we wanted to do. very spacious and well equipped with anything you may need while on vacation. beds were super comfy. our family had a wonderful time. thank you!

• We Love Pan Dulce!!!

  We reached out to the host to see if he would be so kind as to allow us to check in one day earlier due to a change in plans, since we couldn’t afford to lose the reservation—and he was gracious enough to make a one-time exception. We truly appreciate it, especially knowing that’s not typically done.

  The cabin was absolutely beautiful and had all the comforts of home, while still giving us that perfect “away on vacation” feeling. We were also super close to everything we needed—right around the corner from a local store for any extras, about 5 minutes from Big Bear Snowplay for some snow fun, and just a few minutes further to Big Bear Mountain Resort for even more fun for the adults.

• Mini Vacay Sanctuary at Pan Dulce

  Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing experience at Pan Dulce! Between the homey decor, boardgames and necessities ( and beyond) that were provided this cabin was a sanctuary we desperately needed. 10 to 15 mins from town and hiking trails around the corner provided so much to do we can't wait to go back for more! Though the comfort provided within the cabin itself made it hard to walk out the door!
