• Misleading Amenities

  We booked this property after cancelling a reservation with airbnb. This was our last family vacation before our new baby will be born. We booked this property because it was out of the way of the main city, had a garage, looked well equipped, and had a jacuzzi. We were disappointed when we arrived at 5:45 pm (our check in time was 4 pm) and we had yet to receive check in/check out instructions. We messaged the host for instructions but ended up having to call the help number. When we did they gave us a check in code and said they would follow up with an email with instructions; we did not receive an email that night. After getting into the house three hours after our set check in time, we realized the amenities listed were not actually available. There were no toiletries outside of laundry and dish soap, the cable tv remote was missing, there were no coffee filters, the ice and water wasn't working in the fridge, the dishwasher had been pulled out, and there was a broken floorboard in the door one of the bedrooms. Lastly, there was no access to the garage like advertised (we booked this location since my wife is pregnant and we didn't want her to fall on ice at 33 weeks pregnant). Unfortunately, one of the nights, I did fall because of how slick the parking was. We contacted the host through the vrbo app seven times and never heard back. We are incredibly disappointed with this experience and are hoping to save you some trouble. You should book somewhere else.

  - Fall Incident: Regarding the incident where you reported a fall due to slick conditions, we take such reports very seriously. We reviewed our security footage extensively and found no evidence of a fall occurring on our property, and we were not notified at the time to take appropriate action. Ensuring the safety of our guests is paramount, and we continuously monitor and maintain the property to prevent such issues.
  - Parking Clarification: We apologize for any confusion regarding parking. Our listing specifies that parking is available in the driveway, not a garage. We strive for clarity in our communications and will ensure this information is well understood.
  - Communication Issues: It is concerning to learn that you did not receive timely responses to your inquiries. Although we responded, it appears our messages may not have reached you, possibly going to your junk folder. We are addressing this issue to improve the reliability of our communication channels.

• Fantastic Cabin!

  I scheduled to take my husband on vacation for his birthday. We needed a cabin that would sleep 5 adults and 2 kids, this worked out perfect with room to spare. The cabin looks exactly like the photos. Everyone really enjoyed the spa! The location is right outside town, which was nice and quite but easy to get to where we wanted to go. Loved out stay!
