Great place but needs improvement
2/5 Found a dead rat in the play room.
Evolve didn't specify at first there was Rats issue at the cabin. If we knew this ahead of time for sure we wouldn't accept this house for our families mini vacation.
Cabin is nice. Central to everything. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Our kids love the hot tub.
On the first night we checked in, Our son found the dead rat on the rat trap when he was checking out the play room. Horrible. I called the host and they had someone came 15 mins later to throw away the rat for us. The next day. Our son accidentally stepped on another rat trap. Since then, The kids rarely played in the playroom. Evolve agreed to refund $100 for the traumatized incident.
There are other things that needs improvement, such as: pot and pans are too old and scratchy, not enough paper towels/toilet papers, the ceiling lights in one of the bedroom is broken and they had placed a lamp in there which also semi broken.
Overall I wish the dead rat incident didnt Happen then it could be a more pleasant stay.
