    Great location and cozy warm cabin. Perfectly enjoyable and comfortable with a nice kitchen and fireplace. We will plan to return again in the future and thanks to the host for being so helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

  • Beds were terrible

    The bed upstairs is way too small for 2 people and it would constantly squeak with any movement the air filter for the heater is in desperate need of changing also other than that we really enjoyed our time

    Hi Chris, thank you for your review. The homeowner would like to address your concerns:
    - Bed sizes are clearly listed in the property description, with a full bed upstairs and a queen downstairs. We understand mattress comfort is subjective, and preferences can vary.
    - It's the first time we receive feedback about the upstairs bed squeaking but will look into it to ensure future guests are comfortable.
    - The air filter is replaced at the start of every winter, and there haven’t been prior concerns about it.

  • Roost for Empty Nesters

    These empty nesters loved having the entire family over for the Holidays. Then we took a little getaway to The Roost, just the two of us her skis and my snowboard. The cabin was perfect, for us. The exterior is unassuming, yet charming. The couches and bed were comfy. Everything in the cabin was easy to use, from the simple Frigidaire stove, to the Nest household thermostat and Roku TV (easy to login to our own streaming services.I wouldn't have guessed I'd like a black sink or faucet fixtures. But, they looked great here and worked like a charm, from the kitchen sink to the steamy warm shower, after fun days at Bear Valley. The ultimate question in a review is, would you come back? You bet we would!
