Cozy cabin in the pines!
5/5 My husband, myself and my two dogs needed a break from the heat and this was just the spot! It was about 2 hours from the west side of the city. The drive was short, and it was amazing to be in the middle of pine trees and 30 degrees cooler. The cabin was cozy, clean and fully stocked. The backyard was fenced so my two large dogs could run around. They got a surprise when they discovered an elk in the backyard though. After some barking, the elk jumped over the fence to the front yard and grazed on the grass. We had a relaxing time, even spent sometime in the backyard hammock. We hope to return!
5/5 Cabin was beautiful and fully equipped with everything imaginable. GREAT location to town, Pine and Payson; even took side trips to Winslow, Holbrok and Overgaard. The property was spacious and so relaxing - too many pines to count. We were lucky to be visited by two local young deer, and they stayed as my wife serenaded them, from the front porch. The back deck was perfect for an early am coffee - cool, fresh mountain air. Had to make a quick health check at the local FD and the Strawberry-Pine FD was professional and personable. Finally, our host, Denise, she is a gem! Great communication, immediate replies, knowledgeable about the area and extremely accommodating. Can't wait to go back to this wonderful location (that is until we find our own special home in Strawberry). You will love it there... H and J

Peaceful Getaway
5/5 A pleasant relief from Tucson heat! Denise goes over and beyond to make sure her guests feel right at home. It had everything we needed and more. The cabin is on a quiet street and we enjoyed hanging out on the front porch, walking around the neighborhood and watching the elk, deer and a variety of birds. We are going back next month!

Great getaway!
5/5 Property was as advertised. Awesome cabin with front/back porches. Large fenced yard which both dogs enjoyed. We definitely would stay again!!
