  We loved this place so much. Cabin is nicely equipped and took care of all of our needs. Beautiful sitting area with a hammock. Super quiet neighborhood. Will definitely book again!

• Short of awesome

  The cabin itself was just that, a cabin. Great ambiance for out in the woods. AC was very disappointing and undersized. Good thing we brought our own fans as the temp outside was close to 100 and the unit had no chance of cooling the back rooms. Cleanliness was ok and could have been overlooked until we found all of the bathroom towels were wet, rolled up and placed on the beds. Nice place but overall the experience was short of awesome.

  From the owner: "Chris, thank you for staying at our little mountain cabin. Sorry that the unusually hot temperatures you experienced while in Show Low affected your stay. It’s been a hot year, but the night air often cools off into the 60s and with our ceiling fans in every room and a few open windows, we find it nice and cozy. As for the towels, we will look into that. We use a licensed and highly accommodated cleaning company, but they often turn the place over back to back. Apologies, I hope you will give the White Mountains another chance and be rewarded with the usually temped weather!"

• Cozy but needs some upgrades

  Cozy cabin but, it needs some work and there is some awkward parts to the cabin! Cons-First of all, I contacted the owner by email to tell them I had no hot water after my son took a shower and, never heard back! The toilet downstairs, needs to be upgraded to an adult toilet vs. a child’s toilet. It is so small, my kids were even talking about it. The shower downstairs has an extra vanity holder in the bathroom that needs to be drilled in and not held by a very unstable suction cup. If you have small children, this would be scary since it can fall over at anytime.There is a step that leads to the bedrooms that needs caution tape or something put down to remind everyone there is step there.The bedroom upstairs, is very tiny! The pics on the website, make these rooms look wayyyyy different! It is a very bad idea to think an adult should stay in this room! There is no main table to eat at. There is just that very small table you see in the pics.Pro’s-We enjoyed the fire pit and hammock outside! Also, the sitting area was a good size.The dart board was a hit but, the darts were cheap and one broke:(The cabin was loaded with everything that you need in the kitchen.Having a washer and dryer is nice.

Firstly, it was listed in your booking documents and in our welcome guide that text is the preferred method to reach me. As for the size of rooms and toilet, we can’t be much more clear than, well photos. I’m also 6”3 220lbs and have not had the same experience. This is a cabin in the woods and with that, you lose a few luxuries of home. A long shower can deplete the hot water, but as I’m sure you found out, after a few minutes it’s good to go again. Lastly, there are dining tables in the living area, side yard, and back yard. Sorry, they didn’t meet your needs. Thanks again."
