Although we wanted to love this place after seeing the pictures and booking, it was a bit of a disappointment. I’m not sure if the hosts are local or if they live away and have a cleaning company, but I would recommend they check on the cleanliness of the house. I know it’s Arizona and we should expect bugs, but the house had “just been cleaned and was ready for us,” yet there was dirt, crumbs, dead spiders and dead bugs around the house. The padded frame around the bed was dirty, with very visible debris, hairs, and dead bugs in each button hole. The guest bedroom had hairs on the bedding. Before leaving we asked if toiletries were available. We were told they had shampoo and conditioner, we just needed to take body wash. Upon arriving, the master bath had an empty shampoo bottle and a razor cap that had been left there from what I assume was a previous guest. The toilet paper was a 1 ply, very thin, which you wouldn’t find in cheaper hotels. There were signs in the restrooms to not flush toilet paper, which I’ve only heard of when we visited bad plumbing areas in another country. I am not sure if my expectations of an Airbnb are too high, but my previous experiences have been so good, and have exceeded my expectations, that this one was just a disappointment. There was a Keurig coffee maker (which still had an old used kcup in there) that my wife didn’t use because there wasn’t anything for the coffee, but a few packets of Splenda.
Previous Airbnbs provided the ingredients for a good cup of coffee.
They also list the grill in the backyard as a feature that can be used, but I received a text letting me know the propane tank might be empty and I could fill it up at the gas station. Also, know that if you want to use the washer and dryer you need to take your own detergent, fabric softener, etc. to be able to wash.
Like I said, I’m not sure if all the other Airbnbs have just had amazing attention to detail and so many extras that are out of the norm, but this one lacked attention to detail. The TVs weren’t connected to any streaming services and were locked to where we couldn’t log in to our own streaming channels. The master bedroom didn’t have a TV either, which would be a nice plus. The master bath shower head had zero pressure and after a few seconds began to spray water from the side and threw a screw and bolt on the floor. It is an amazingly beautiful home with a beautiful backyard, but lacked so many details for a comfortable stay.
The property itself is beautiful and it was very clean. Description did indicate that there was road noise however it was louder than expected. Property is on the corner of two busy roads so that contributed to the issue. Also internet/cable was not good unable to really watch tv without continuous interruptions.

The house is awesome, however, the location is on a very busy intersection and the road noise is tremendous. I would highly suggest bringing an echo dot to play brown noise to drown out the road noise. The putting green is great as well as the corn hole game. The grill area is fantastic. All in all our stay was fabulous and the house is beautiful.

We had an excellent stay. Lots of space both indoors and outside. It’s a very clean and safe neighborhood. We cooked both inside and outside. The 3 bathrooms were a game changer… Family visited and we had a wonderful time. Thank you for being so welcoming .

Stayed with my family here for six nights. Pros: beautifully remodeled home, both interior and exterior. With good weather, the backyard was a hit with the kids. Beds were comfortable, especially in the master. Cons: house is right off of a big intersection, so traffic noise is very loud. The Wifi was spotty. Strangely there is a TV in every room except for the master. There’s an alarm system, but it was disabled. Disappointing since you’re right on a main street. The hot water stopped working after the first day. Although the property manager was responsive to get it fix, it did take two days to fix, but even after that the hot water only lasted for one shower, so problematic for a family of four.
