  A very nice house in a quiet neighborhood. We met the home owners briefly, and they seemed genuinely interested in accommodating their guests. Communication was outstanding! I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again. We did have minor complaints that led to the four star review. First off, the "community" pool isn't an accurate description. The pool is the home owner's. It's in their backyard. It's generous that they are willing to allow guests to use it; however, it's also a little awkward. The description should've been more clear for those looking to book a place with a swimming pool. Our second complaint was the hot tub. It's not a permanent hot tub. It's a temporary hot tub that wasn't set up when we arrived. Again, the pool and hot tub were both features we were looking for when the reservation was made. A better description is needed in my opinion. Lastly, there was an issue with the air conditioning during our stay. The thermostat locked up late one night, and we were unable to control the temperature in the house at that point. This issue was not the home owner's fault. Electronics can do weird things. The app based system isn't convenient for guests. The owner did fix the AC first thing the following morning. I addressed these concerns with the home owner prior to leaving and was told all of them would be addressed for future guests! A

• March Stay in Oro Valley

  We stayed here for a few days in Mid March. It is a beautiful property in a beautiful neighborhood with a great view of mountains from the front yard/side patio. Andrew is a great host that communicates everything you need to know before check in. Also very easy to get hold of if you need anything while staying at the property. It is very clean and well kept and is only about 30 to 40 mins north of Tucson. We loved both the side patio and the back patio area. There are a lot of things to do and places to go nearby. We will definitely be back!

• Fabulous home and host

  I am so happy I chose this home in this location for my 3 weeks stay in Tucson! The home was perfect for me, my niece and her daughter. I’ve stayed in quite a few vacation home rentals and this was one of the best stocked homes ever. There was plenty of coffee, creamer, condiments etc. The bathrooms were also very well supplied. The home was very clean. My niece and her daughter enjoyed the hot tub, and I appreciated that enclosed yard for my dog. Also the mountain views were wonderful, and the nearby walking path was, as well.This neighborhood is one of the most quiet places I have ever stayed. At night there is a dark sky ordinance which means you can walk outside and see unbelievable stars. I wisely chose this area for its proximity to Catalina State Park. The entrance was only 10 minutes away. It was a wonderful place to go for morning and evening walks, and there are plenty of more strenuous hikes as well. Also, just walking around the neighborhood was wonderful and peaceful.I can’t say enough about Andrew, our host. He was the most attentive host I have ever had at a vacation rental. His response time was usually just minutes and he always wanted to make sure everything was perfect. I would absolutely stay here again, and probably will.
