Great family gathering spot for a wedding
5/5 Our daughter was getting married in Apache Junction at Desert View Weddings and Events. We live in the far northwest side of the Greater Phoenix Area, which is over an hour's drive each way. A vacation property was a perfect solution for us for the few days around the event including the rehearsal and dinners.
While still about 20 minutes away, it was much more convenient for us than driving several hours / day.
The check-in process was seamless. We were provided with a unique door unlock code the day prior to arrival.
The house was perfect for our group of 10 adults and teens. It was very clean and modern and well-appointed. The property manager was just a text message away if we had questions.
The only downside was parking. It was a bit tight but the rental included the garage and 2 spots in the driveway for a total of 4 cars. Access to the driveway is down a shared entrance lane and parking is not allowed on the lane itself, but there is overflow parking on the street out front. The property managers provided 2 garage door openers, which was extremely useful and appreciated.
There is a 2 hole putting green in the back yard which the boys found quite entertaining, although you need to bring your own putters and golf balls. The kids enjoyed the HUGE community pool and game room just a short drive away.
We highly recommend this property, especially if you are having an event at Desert View.
