  While the property was great, getting inside was a nightmare. We arrived late at night and the code we were given was not working. I tried both of the property contacts and neither responded to my calls or text. After about an hour of trying to get in or a hold of someone, we had to get a hotel for the first night. The next morning I finally received a response from one of them saying they accidentally gave me the wrong code. They offered to refund the night at the hotel, but then tried to go back and only offer 50% refund when it was 100% their fault. They refunded the night but it ruined a very important family trip.

  We had another wonderful visit to Ocean Isle Beach!! This is my families second time staying in this condo and both times we’ve had a great experience!! The condo is always so clean and has everything that you would need for your vacation. The owners are great with communication if you ever need anything. We will definitely be back in the near future. Thank you again for a wonderful place to stay!!

• Nice home but not equipped with essentials

  The house is nice but seemed the owners are new to Airbnb/VRBO. At a time where temperatures were below freezing the house is not equipped with blankets or comforters. When we brought this to their attention the owners son did drop some blankets. Basic amenities like sufficient toilet paper was not provisioned for. The front door lock had dead batteries and would not open and was finnicky to operate. The driveway had snow accumulated and there was no metal scraping showel to clean it up just a regular shovel. No extra towels. The house is comfortable but the owners need to step up in making it a comfortable visit for their guests who pay a pretty penny to stay there.

  Hi Sunil, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues with the community amenities during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  - Even AZ has its fair share of Winter, and we feel the comforters that are provided in addition to our great heat system should do the trick to keep you warm and cozy. When you contacted us we responded immediately and brought over plenty of blankets per your request.
  - We make sure that the toilet paper is well stocked we're sorry that you did not feel this was enough.
  - We apologize for the dead batteries, we explained that with hard use and the cold elements they die fast. We provide extras just in case this happens while you are at the property, and leave detailed instructions to change out if needed. This is explained to all our guests during the initial check-in. We also provide a key in case you need it.
  - We don't see too much snow but the shovel we provide works very well.
  
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
