Would not recommend! If you are looking for a spa, forget it!

We had booked this unit based solely on the availability of the 3 separate bedrooms and the privacy of the spa. The latter of those was completely unusable for the duration of the stay (as shown in photos to the agent - wish I could post them here!).

Arrived to discover the spa was FILTHY! The smell alone made us replace the cover. The spa required a complete drain and refill (with freezing cold water). With the chemicals not being added to the spa until late 12/18 by the spa maintenance company, this kept it unsuitable for human use during our entire stay. At least it will be good to go for the next guests!

We tried to load the dishwasher but we discovered stagnant water in it from the previous renters (assumption). Interesting. The dishwasher was non functional at all and had to be replaced while we were there. In fact, the handyman replaced that, a main room fan and gave us access to a replacement propane cylinder after the fire pit one was discovered empty on arrival.

Almost trivial compared to the other items, the TV remote was missing (again, had to be replaced by the aforementioned handyman) but that removed some "entertainment" that would have been welcome while being stuck in the property for an entire day. Of note is that he was super friendly but with 2 younger girls we were initially concerned that he was even coming!

Unfortunately, this site does not allow me to post the photos to show the full story as words cannot describe the situation well enough.

To be fair, we were refunded 20% of our rental fee for the above but next time we will look for a hotel for guaranteed family relaxation.

- Repairs and Replacements: The dishwasher malfunction and other issues were unexpected, but we acted quickly to resolve them during your stay, including replacing the dishwasher and addressing other concerns.

- Service and Refund: We worked hard to address the problems and provided a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill for the inconveniences experienced.

We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet expectations. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve the experience for future guests.

How nice at the end of the day to relax with family at the end of the day in the jacuzzi, with stringed lights & BBQ grill. The street was quiet as mentioned in the comments before, but noise from the tavern could be heard across the way. Not a big problem, but certainly you don’t feel like you’re out in the middle of nowhere.

The floors were uneven & I lost my footing in the middle of the night in the hallway. Perhaps moving the nightlights around would help.

The host was flexible in our reservation change. That was nice.

The master bath shower is snug for any normal-sized adult.

Patio was a great place to relax after a long drive and attending a wedding/reception. Everything as listed and clean and tidy.

Delightful Stay Up North

Our family of 4 with 2 teenagers enjoyed our stay immensely; hot tub, fire pit, games & great location to explore outside. The house has nice, trendy updates, comfortable furniture & entertainment spaces & wonderful, cold, drinkable tap water! Lol. Would definitely stay again.
