My husband, my dog and myself stayed here for 2 weeks in August and were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and we found ourselves very comfortable for the extended stay. While the living/eating area are smaller, it is well suited for a group of 4 or less. The yard was a highlight for us, very spacious and enjoyable in the nice weather both day and night.

After a full day of driving, Jeep tour and shopping, we got to the place we were staying. I could not find my email for the code to get in. I text the owner and he immediately text back with the code. When we got in, we were so pleased to see how clean and nice it was. It had everything that you could need, from sitting outside by the fire, a piano and guitar for someone who is musical, games and kitchen accessories for making meals. Very welcoming! It was the perfect end to a great day!

We left a day early and will not stay here again. The house was cheaply renovated (a 5-year old could have done it better). There were light-switch covers missing, door handles looked like they were about to fall off any moment, windows didn't open properly and fly screens were missing, torn or broken. The weeds in the back yard were knee high - shame, as with just a tiny bit of care, it could've been the house's best asset. There were ants all over the kitchen - we had to get ant spray the minute we arrived. Spiders all over the basement. A small window a/c unit would've made a world of difference to our comfort during the summer months. The kitchen faucet handle kept falling off. And I don't know if the place was vacuumed before our arrival - there was a lot of hair and debris all over that was not from us. It made us so uncomfortable to stay there - when we heard the rain forecast, we left a day early so as not to stay in this grubby house another night.

Although the property has potential the execution of the remodel work is a joke. There are exposed holes, wires and gaps in trim/doorways allowing for critters to enter. The light switches, fans and faucets are reversed confusing low to high and hot to cold. Out of line doors are hard to open and close. Husband had to He-man his way into the front door every time. The worst part was when the downstairs toilet leaked poop water out from underneath due to an improper seal. This would be a nice property if they had spent a little more time and money.
