5/5 The cabin was super cute and clean, never have used solar for energy, but was no issues at all, wifi and creek access is family friendly and nice to not have to drive to water. The owner contacted us before we checked in and was available for any questions needed.It is secluded, maybe a tad more than I am used to. You will have 2 miles of gravel road and toward the cabin the road does narrow. We saw deer in the clearing during the morning hours and the weather was great for sutting on the porch.

5/5 My daughter and I stayed just shy of week and the best time! It was the perfect tiny little space for us. Quick access to the creek, to town, and other swimming holes. The host was more than happy to answer any questions and was always a text away! 10/10 recommend staying here. I grew in spending every summer in Mtn View and I absolutely loved staying here!
5/5 This little cabin was the perfect get away! It is a small space, but has everything you need to prepare meals, relax, and just enjoy being away from your busy day-to-day life. It had a full size fridge, oven, microwave, and a Keurig in the kitchen. I loved relaxing on the large covered porch as well as the cool waters of the creek which is just below the cabin! My grandson and I even caught a few fish!! I've already started planning my next stay!

Cabin, creek and family fun!
5/5 This was such a wonderful place to stay with our family! Jim, the owner, was a wonderful host! He not only was gracious enough to share his cabin with us for a few days, but due to extreme weather warnings we were also welcomed to come over and stay with his family in their storm shelter while the tornado passed. We enjoyed getting to meet his parents and talk with them. They truly made us feel welcomed.We love finding secluded places with beautiful settings. This place was perfect and close enough to lots of areas to explore. We loved touring Blanchard Springs Cavern, riding our Jeep in the National Forest, relaxing at the creek right in front of the cabin and our kids spent hours playing at the creek catching fish and crawfish! We made so many core memories on this trip and we are so grateful we found this adorable place to stay! Mountain View is beautiful and we would love to return again. Thank you again Jim for being an amazing host and making sure we were safe and cared for!
