I reserved this VRBO for a wedding planning visit. I needed multiple bedrooms and proximity to our scheduled appts. The first disappointment: this is not really a VRBO. You are directed to another website, Evolve, for payments & a "guest contact." Our plans extended and I needed to add one night. I was offered a discount to extend my stay via text from Evolve. I added the night, waited for a response, had to pay more on Evolve but discount did not seem to be honored. I reached out the "guest contact" listed. She suggested I contact customer service. Not VRBO customer service but Evolve. My call was answered by a call center with an agent that I could not communicate with. Discount NOT resolved. The "guest contact" made it clear that she did not deal with any booking issues. I asked who the contact, owner, accountable person was. "Evolve, Airbnb, VRBO." Not a name, no human, no one who can actually answer questions or resolve issues. The "guest contact" indicated that " I would appreciate any further questions regarding your booking go to whomever you booked with. If you don't have questions about the property itself, there's nothing further to discuss." As our plans solidified, we were arriving in town for appts at 2:30 & 4pm. I sent a request to see if they could accommodate dropping off our luggage rather than carrying it around all afternoon in the 99 degree heat. The "guest contact" ignored my question but I received a response from Evolve indicating that they could accommodate early check-in for an additional $50. Property was vacant, ready for check-in, but I needed to pay $50 more for an extra 1-2 hours. As a note it was $755 for 3 nights. Not a good value once I saw the condition of the property. The house was difficult to locate because there were no photos of front of house, no house # on box. Once I arrived, I understood why. The house was shabby, lots of stairs, walkways, & railings that were rotting and crumbling. The house smelled foul, listing pictures must have been taken some years ago. The carpets, furniture were shabby, worn, & smelled. There were drop-in tile ceilings warped & stained. Water stains & damage all over the house. The kitchen had a few things but we could not cook a meal. Most cabinets were empty, no ice maker, no ice trays, no wine screw. We did not eat a single meal there, we spent as much time away from the shabby, dingy, crumbling house as possible. I would never rent this unit again. I would not recommend it to you.

-We understand that plans can change, and while we did our best to support your extended stay request, some booking-related issues needed to be handled through the reservation platform, which is standard practice for third-party listings.
-The home is stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils that have supported over 55 previous guest stays. An ice maker isn’t listed as an amenity, but we appreciate knowing what you found to be missing.
-We’re always working to keep the home in top condition, and following your departure, we did find damage to the pool and a missing exterior storage door — neither of which were present before your arrival.
-We know that every guest has their own expectations, and we’re always open to feedback that helps us improve both the home and the guest experience.

We had a great time here. It’s maintained well. Had a blast playing pool. The downstairs gave a nice secluded feeling.
Me and my family had a great time it was everything we could have expected or couldn't expect either or it was great it's a great place great environment very cozy we will probably go back there next year if it's available I'm sure to be pretty popular by the time this is over with
