  We had a great time and the house was more than adequate for all 13 of us. The house is very big and all the extra bathrooms were great. The management was very responsive to all questions that we had and we had no major issues. The house could use some general maintenance overall with faucets being loose and doors tough to close, but nothing that impacted the enjoyment of our family. Thanks for everything!

• Alarming

  Walking into the house ones first impression is that it’s quite “grand”. But quickly you realize that this house has taken a beating. Floors are patched, several faucet fixtures leak and are loose, bedroom doorknobs were loose and didn’t latch properly, previous renters clothes were still in the dresser drawers so turnover cleaning is an issue, luke warm water, not hot water. Just many little irritating issues like that. It’s a rental so some of that is to be expected.

  More importantly, the back door (and to a degree the front door) doesn’t latch so we didn’t feel safe at night. We literally used the old chair under the door handle trick to “lock” the door. Ridiculous.

  Also the alarm system was a disaster. There are two different levels of alarms. At least every other hour the lesser, but still loud, alarm would sound including through the night. We figured out which button would shut it off, eventually.

  Then the absolutely intolerably loud alarm ( you had to run out of the house) also went off several times. Again got lucky and were able to shut it off ourselves. But of course you never knew when it might alarm again.

  We called the management and the guy came out but had no idea how to manage the alarm system.

  We should be due some $ consideration for these disruptions of our trip but none has been offered

• Family vacation for 13

  The house is not just beautiful but so very spacious.7 bedrooms with each having its own bathroom. The house was well equipped with all the necessities. Fishing was great. The family caught 3 huge catfish weighting over 5 pounds or more, numerous smaller fish and 4 turtles, one which weighed 20 lbs. the kids had a great time fishing. Also had a nice pool, weather was just too cool to enjoy.

• TV’s don’t work

  The backyard area is great!Not 1 tv in the house works, even after sending someone out to fix it. The gentleman who came was very nice and even brought us ice. Not enough coffee cups for quantity of guests the house holds. Ice maker didn’t seem to work after 1st day. Could use some champagne/wine glasses.

  -We apologize for the TV issue. We were notified two days after your arrival, contacted the service provider, and scheduled the earliest technician available—unfortunately, on the day of your departure. A team member also assisted, but the issue couldn’t be resolved on-site.
  -The ice machine is working, but it takes time to replenish after the initial supply is used, especially with a full group.
  -Thank you for bringing the missing cups and wine glasses to our attention. We’ve completed an inventory check and will be restocking them promptly.

  Very nice house. Only issue was internet and TV's were not functional.Other than that everything was good.
