3/5 It was a lovely stay. Perfect location for us. Gorgeous view on river side. Loved the pool. Some issues that the owner would probably want to address, though:Windrift 214N:Rusty patio furnitureTorn curtainsFilthy stained bath mat in MBRDripping tub faucets Was not told ahead of time that construction was going on - was noisy.Terrible garbage smell, but seemed to have been when garbage truck had come. Was better later. Electrical outlets in kitchen don’t work. Thank you.

VRBO cancelled my reservation 1 hour before check in
1/5 After driving 7 hours, and 1 hour before check in, VRBO cancelled my reservation leaving me with nowhere to stay! The building was under repair and had been for a while but they allowed me to book anyway. I called customer service and was told to book another place and they would pay the difference. There were very few places available, but I found one and booked through a local company. I submitted my claim for the additional 300 it cost me to book another place, and VRBO denied it because I didn’t book through them. The customer service rep only told me took book another place, not that I had to book through VRBO. Even if I had booked through them, they had a limit of what they would reimburse and would not have covered all of the cost of the 3 places they had available, as all were well over 1000 more than I paid. I had to pay the additional cost of another rental after being left with nowhere to stay.

Not recommended for families or women
2/5 The property was very outdated. It did not have the necessary things we needed to cook. It was not very clean. The property manager was nice and responsive but I would not stay here again. It is not somewhere you want to stay and relax when you are on vacation. It seemed more like a place for men to stay to go fishing.

Stay at Orange Beach
5/5 The condo was fabulist. Very relaxing, and the Doc's Seafood was outstanding. The view form the balcony overlooking the bay was nice. The boats and the people swimming was fun to watch. If you want a nice, quiet getaway this is a great place to visit in October.
