5/5 The property was beautiful and the house was well-suited for my family. Everything was clean and the furnishings were pretty decent for a rental house. Only an hour and a bit more away from points of interest such as Huntsville and Decatur, I’d highly recommend The Bunkhouse.

4/5 My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Only two things we had an issue with were number of flys that was in the house and the fact that we had to get our own tissue. I feel as if the tissue should’ve been stocked up considering the fact we stayed for 4 nights. The number of fly’s were troubling it was over 10, im not sure what could’ve been done to prevent that because the place seemed clean on the surface. But other than that communication was great, I felt secure because we were in a gated neighborhood and we loved the fact that we were 6 mins driving from where we needed to go. I would still highly recommend this place, and would stay here again if we return.

Birthday celebration Weekend
5/5 We had a wonderful time over the weekend. There were 9 of us and there was plenty of room. You can’t see the lake from the cabin but it’s not far away at all to drive to. The disc course is fantastic, the downtown area in Guntersville had great shops, and there was a great selection of restaurants within 10 minutes. We will definitely stay here again.

Team connection and getaway
3/5 Location was perfect. Loved the quiet and the lake. Convenient to City Harbor. No WiFi was a problem we had to solve because we were accessing training via zoom and YouTube (we were aware before the stay—thank you Jessica for your help!). Not setup for women who wanted to use the kitchen. No dishrag or dish soap, no potholders, cooking utensils sparse. No hand soap or shower soap in the bathrooms.

- The rural location of this property is part of its charm, so Wi-Fi is not available in several of the cabins, as mentioned in the listing. We're working to get a system in this remote area that supports Wi-Fi, but we're glad the hotspot worked for your group meeting.
- All of our cabins have soap, cooking utensils, towels, and potholders, but we'll ensure these items remain stocked in a caddy under the kitchen sink.
