Mixed feelings
2/5 First, for the positives -- Arvonnie communicated very well with us. She made sure that we had the information we needed before we arrived and checked to make sure we had arrived.The house itself needs some TLC. It needs a deep cleaning and light bulbs to brighten things up. It is much darker than the listing would indicate. In addition, there are several maintenance items that need to be addressed which I have already let Arvonnie know about.

Classic Birmingham home but lacks professional level
3/5 This house was really easy to communicate with host and get into. Parking was good. I needed to stay in this area so that is why I picked this property. It is clearly an older home which I wouldn’t knock it for, however all areas of the house and most the furniture in the house could use some deep cleaning/updates. It felt not professionally cleaned and most furniture or linens had stains. Also very minimal cookware and only one k kup stocked.

Nice stay TLC needed
4/5 It seems they are just beginning with this house as it requires work to get to be a really nice VRBO. Neighborhood was quiet, minus the airplanes flying over every 5 minutes. The host was more than accommodating when there were issues. She decorated the house and brought in a live Christmas tree for us to enjoy during our stay, was not expecting that. Not a bad experience, just needs a little TLC.
