Ultimate Quaint Comfort Experience
5/5 This historic home is renovated and has definite artistic flair all throughout the house, with modern comfort (like a/c units) throughout. If you are like me and absolutely love imagining being in the past, with original wood floors and doors (I think?) but still having 21st century plumbing, this home is a delight. Clearly someone with a fun artsy vibe has also added colorful tiles in the kitchen and downstairs bathroom, which was great. Another part of our group stayed in a more modern, typical luxury home, but I was ecstatic to stay in this one instead. Every corner of the house has thoughtful, intriguing decor and feels like a window into Birmingham's old Southern charms.

From the owner: "We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and took notice of all the little details we never expected others to notice. Most doors are original, but we had to find some that match the same period. The pine floors are 112 years old and were lovingly refinished and yep, the plumbing and heating and air units and ductwork are all new. We are so honored to share our home with you all"
