4/5 It was in the 80's in Fairbanks, and the house is surrounded by trees, so very little breeze came through to cool the house. I love trees and it was cool to have the remote feel, but it was hot during the day, and a little above tolerable in the evening. I will say it was a little further outside of town than I would have liked, but overall not too bad. Plenty of space, and overall clean.
Fairbanks stay
4/5 Worked out perfect for our situation. Three bedrooms and 21/2 baths was what convinced me to book this property. The only downsides were it is out of the way 10 plus miles from town and the wifi is very weak and signal gets lost easily. Owner was easy to work with and allowed us to book an extra night because our planned hunt was delayed a day.

Great house in great location for woods and off the beaten path.
5/5 The house was wonderful, the mosquitoes were awful but it was Alaska in the summer! We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Off the Grid
4/5 The property was clean, but could use new carpet, fresh paint and some minor repairs. Room darkening curtains during the summer months are really necessary. There weren't any extra blankets. Many supplies were available: coffee, oils, seasonings, etc. The coffee bar was a special touch! Neighbors were very quiet. Very remote location and gravel roads to the unit are very rough. Knowing this, we would have rented a SUV from the start.
