Property was ok. They have tried to make it somewhat nice, but the furniture is very old. The flooring in the kitchen is stained and there was a pile of dirt next to the dining table. The fire pit is a tracker rim in the grass with no seats around it. The neighborhood is full of kids who drive around on golf carts and motor bikes and you're constantly afraid of hitting them or them hitting you. Definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Hi Joseph, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. After reading your feedback, we followed up with the homeowner, who wanted to clarify a few points:
- Nearly all the furniture in the property is new and carefully selected to provide comfort and functionality; however, they appreciate your input and will assess each piece again.
- The flooring and cleanliness concerns you've mentioned have been discussed with the cleaning team, and additional checks will be implemented to maintain consistent cleanliness.
- The fire pit is rustic by design and matches the natural, outdoor atmosphere of the area, but your feedback on seating options will be considered for future improvement.
- The neighborhood is family-oriented and typically very welcoming to visitors, but your feedback is helpful for future guests to set expectations regarding local surroundings.
Thanks for your valuable feedback!
Everything was great. The only thing missing was wifi, but cellular signal was good, so it wasn't a huge deal. I would recommend and stay again myself.
Very pleased with the stay. House was clean and well furnished. Owner very helpful with my questions. A working class neighborhood near the highway, but no worse than many hotels located near highway interchanges. Convenient to airport and downtown
Convenient and comfortable tiny home with charm. I have stayed here several times and I love how close it is to the airport, walkable to restaurants in Spenard and convenient to get nearly anywhere in Anchorage via car or bicycle. The owner aims to please and is very helpful if you're interested in cycling or backcountry skiing tips for Anchorage and beyond!
