Great location to walk Anchorage
3/5 The house definitely had some cool upgrades, like the staircase and the small deck with water views, the kitchen was nice too. The problem came with the bedrooms - each one had a negative for 3 adult couples. I don't think there's ever a place for a Full size bed in a VRBO property, this detail slipped by us and caused problems. The 'up primary' had Weck glass block IN FRONT OF THE SHOWER/TUB when backlit was visible to the den - a ridiculous design feature. The negative to the 'down primary' was lugging 2-week luggage down that beautiful staircase, then it was a bit musty once you got there.

-The listing does specify that one of the bedrooms includes a full-size bed. While this is clearly noted, we understand the importance of ensuring this detail stands out to help guests make informed decisions. We always encourage guests to carefully review the listing details to ensure the property meets their expectations.
-Regarding the glass wall in the living room, it is frosted and not see-through; at most, shadows may be visible. Additionally, the wall is three inches thick, providing further privacy.
-As for the downstairs area, it is indeed a finished basement, which may have a slightly musty scent due to Alaska’s unique climate. However, this is quite typical for the region and nothing excessive.

5/5 Such a charming and warm home. Plenty of room for everyone and great communication with the host. Perfect location, within walking distance to downtown shopping and great restaurants as well as the Tony Knowles Coastal trail. Hoping to visit again, and if so, we would love to stay there again!
