    I have been holding off doing this review because I usually only want to do a review to tell people how much I love some place, and this review *is* partially that. We arrived to find several dirty dishes in the sink. I've been renting vacation homes since 2020 and this was a first. No patio door screens, which wouldn't be a huge deal, but there were gigantic spiders with webs full of little bugs on both windows (because that's nature). We bought magnetic screens as a workaround. I sent an email to one of the 2 emails listed as contacts complaining about these things. Forgot the picture of the dishes so I sent another email. Then I wrote back and apologized about complaining about the AC because my kid figured out how to work it. To this day, I have never heard anything back from my 3 emails, also a first when trying to reach a property manager (and in this case also the owner, if I'm not mistaken). The GREAT part is that this place is absolutely beautiful and the view of the lake is amazing. I would just be hesitant to rent it again due to the lack of communication which is super unfortunate.

    ARRIVED EXCITED BUT THE PROPERTY WAS NOT CLEANED WE WERE ATTEMPTING TO CHECK IN AT 6M EVOLVE STATED THE OWNER HAD AN HOUR TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM- THIS WAS NOT POSSIBLE WE MADE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS. EVOLVE/VRBO REFUSED TO GIVE US A REFUND - LAST TIME I EVER WILL BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

    We had a wonderful week in this lovely home. The home is clean and well maintained. The owner responded quickly to our needs as well. We were out visiting my daughter and her husband in the summer and we loved enjoying our days out on the lake with the water toys that were available. We hope to stay here again the next time we come out.
