• Mini vacation close to home

  We had a great stay for the two nights we stayed. We came in from Palmyra to enjoy the James Madison University football game on Thursday night.

  JMU 39 coastal carolina 7! DO DUKES! 💜💛

  We gave it a four only because the trash situation was not ideal. Give yourself extra time when headed home to dispose of your trash; either that or just carry it home with you. That would have been a great idea had we known before we committed to hauling it to the dumpster.

  Again, overall, it wasn’t amazing mini vacay at an adorable cabin. The decorating was top-notch! So pretty for a mountain home. 😀

• Long weekend stay

  Great property and great location! About 15 mins from Shenandoah national park. It was clean and easy check in. We were able to bring our pups along which was a big plus for us! Overall great stay!

• Nice and quiet area

  I recently stayed at this property with my family, and overall, our experience had its ups and downs. The house is located in a lovely gated community on a quiet dead-end street, which provided a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation.

  The property's decor was one of its standout features—nicely done and aesthetically pleasing, it created a welcoming atmosphere. However, despite the charming decor, we encountered a few practical issues during our stay.

  With a group of six adults and two kids, we found the seating arrangements to be somewhat lacking. It would have been great to have more comfortable seating options for everyone to gather and enjoy time together.

  Another downside was the cleanliness of the floors, which needed more attention; we expected better upkeep given the property's otherwise inviting appearance. Additionally, the mattress in all of the bedrooms were extremely uncomfortable, which made sleeping a challenge for us.

  In summary, while the location and decor of the property were appealing, logistical issues regarding seating and cleanliness affected our overall enjoyment. With some improvements, this could be a fantastic place for families and groups to stay in Shenandoah.

  - While the home offers 2 queen beds and a bunk bed setup (full on bottom, twin on top, and twin pullout), it's best suited for 4 adults and children, so we understand the seating may have felt limited for a group of adults
  - We plan to replace the current mattresses with medium support options to accommodate a wider range of preferences, though the current mattresses are only a year old
  - We've asked our cleaning team to address the floors more thoroughly to ensure higher standards of cleanliness moving forward
