Perfect Cozy Getaway!
5/5 We had an amazing stay at this pristine Cottage in Colonial Beach, VA! It had such a cozy welcoming feel, making it the perfect place to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed, which made cooking easy. Our two teenagers loved the location and the ability to walk to town and parks. The screened in porch and back patio were great for enjoying the outdoors, and the fire pit was a wonderful bonus. The master bedroom bed was super comfy, and we really loved the Danish-inspired design/feel of the home. Being so close to the beach is going to make this cottage a summer hot spot. We highly recommend it!

A Perfect Girls Getaway in Colonial Beach, VA
5/5 We had the most amazing "girls getaway" weekend at our short term rental in Colonial Beach. Our vacation rental really felt like a home away from home. The "I Hope You Dance" (sign over the front door) cottage is beautifully decorated, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. From the comfortable rocking chairs on the front porch to the little details like laundry baskets and start up supplies, they really of everything to make our stay effortless and enjoyable. It was also so clean and fresh, which was very important to us, it was perfectly immaculate.
Beyond the cottage, we explored everything this charming town has to offer. We walked along the beach, browsed local thrift stores, had a wonderful dinner at the new Italian restaurant, lunch at a wine and cheese shop that had live entertainment. While there we even attended a Sunday church service where we were warmly welcomed by the community. The town itself was so inviting and despite chilly weather, we had sunny mornings perfect for a walk around - the cottage is convenient to everything (you can walk everywhere from there - and we're all in our 60's). Colonial Beach has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and we can't wait to return. As for the cottage - five star all the way! We'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect comfortable retreat!
