• Spacious, Charming Home in a Great Location

  We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. The house is older and quirky (that description is very accurate!), but that’s part of what makes it so charming. It is also HUGE. There was so much more space than we expected, plenty of parking, and it was a great house for hanging out with friends and family. It would also be a great place for families with kids because there’s so much room for everyone to spread out without feeling like you’re on top of each other.

  The location was fantastic. When they said “near the Alamodome” it is basically in backyard in the best way possible. We were close to everything downtown and could walk to so much, but the neighborhood itself was really neat and the neighbors were very nice. There’s also an awesome charity bar literally about a two-minute walk away that is definitely worth checking out! The kitchen was fully equipped and the house had pretty much everything we could think of needing during our stay.

  Everything was clean and comfortable. One thing I would mention is that it probably isn’t ideal for someone with mobility issues because of the stairs and bathtubs. Also, you can definitely hear the train when it comes through. It can be loud, but I personally found it weirdly comforting and actually kind of loved it.

  There is just so much space here and the house has a ton of personality. If you’re looking for something brand new and perfectly modern, this probably isn’t it, but if you like older homes with charm and a little quirkiness, its a great place to stay. We would absolutely book it again.

  As advertised - beautiful old house and walkable to everything or easy to hop on the highway. Appreciated the provided ear plugs & the bottle of wine.

  Will stay here again!
