So let's start with the positives. The property is close to seawall boulevard and all it had to offer. I felt safe with my kids in the neighborhood. The window AC units all worked well and kept our place cool even using the stove and oven. The TV worked and the beds were clean (ish) and comfortable. For a 3 night stay my family and I managed. Now, onto the negative. Upon entering the unit, we were greeted with an extremly musty/mildew smell. The shower didnt work. The water pressure was so low it took ages to try to fill the tub that we had to plug with a wash cloth because there wasnt a drain plug. This was not ideal on a beach vacation. When I contacted the host, she said she would send a plumber. I checked back a few times. After the first plumber "fell through" she made no attempts at trying to fix the issue or make it right in anyway. The water did get hot so we made due. There were stickers in the main rug and sand under the rug. No broom to make attempts to clean up the previously left sand or any of our own mess. Also found a sticker on our comforter. The parking was confusing. There we 3 cars parked up the walkway our whole second day, we just used the street. Enough flatware for 4 total people but no spatula, no toaster. Just seemed like some basic things missing (i should have looked at the amenities). The couch had visible stains and the table to eat at was pretty wobbly. It was affordable, that's for sure, but you are going to make sacrifices.

I felt very welcome coming into the home and I have no complaints other than the bathroom did have a bad smell. Smelled like a sewer at times when you went in the bathroom, coming up from the drains or something. The AC was a plus, especially coming in from the heat from outside!

I really wanted to like this property, but I just didn’t. There were a lot of small issues that just made it more irritating than relaxing. This is a downstairs unit, it’s part of a quad of duplexes and from this downstairs unit, you can hear every single thing going on upstairs. In fact, if they flush the toilet upstairs, the water rushes through the wall of the master bedroom and kept us up all hours of the night on our last night. The bathroom is small, but fine. The vanity has drawers that are falling out and won’t stay closed, and there is no drain plug in the bathtub to take a bath, which normally would be fine but when traveling with small children who are not comfortable taking showers yet, it was quite an inconvenience to get my child clean. We were told that Wi-Fi would be provided upon check-in and I searched every square inch of the house and could not find a Wi-Fi password. The communication needs to be better, an important information like the Wi-Fi should be displayed for the guests because I shouldn’t have to call you and hunt you down for that information. There is this strange crack in the baseboard, just below the front door, it looks like there is rotting wood, and cockroaches are coming out of it. We found several cockroaches during our stay an and small biting ants that bit my daughter‘s legs up even when she was in bed. At first, I thought it was bedbugs, I can confirm it is in fact ants. Overall, it wasn’t the best, but it could have been worse
