  Cleaning crewing needed to be called right away because there were a lot of dead love bugs all along the windows seals upstairs and downstairs. The AC did not get cold downstairs so they directed us to use standing fans they had there for better air circulation. The living room tv didn’t work properly and couldn’t get an Apps working to watch Netflix, prime, YouTube, Etc. The location of the beach house was nice, and being so close to the beach was a plus. Plenty of space for our family to stay comfortably.

• DO NOT RENT!!

  My experience was AWFUL!! The beach towels left with the house were smelly, I had to wash. 3/4 stove burners did NOT work! 2nd bedroom bathroom light did n NOT work, the door knob fell off, and the shower door was off the track. The front bathroom shower did NOT have hot water! The 3rd bedroom was so hot that we could NOT sleep in! Stair light did NOT work! The den/kitchen was hot even with the AC on 65 degrees! The kitchen refrigerator's ice maker and water did NOT work and the drawers inside did NOT have fronts on them to hold the items in them! One of the adirondack chair's arm, on the deck, was NOT attached! Outside shower head sprayed all over. The front bathroom and upstairs bathroom smelled like sewage! When I called to report the shower door and adirondack chair arm, someone came 2 days later. At that time, I reported that the hot water wasn't working, he said that 1 of the pilot light was out and that he didn't have time to come back to fix it! He said that he had a business to run in Sugarland!! I was appalled!!

  I WOULD LIKE MY VRBO CHARGE BACK AND MORE!! I was TOTALLY disappointed!

• Great Galveston stay

  This property was great and right on the beach. Lots of room for a big family. We had a great time at a great beach house

  The property had some major issues. The price should have been lower. The room with restroom with shower and bunk beds needs makeover in restroom. Everything outdated, shower door broken and lighting not working properly. The living room couch bed didn’t work. The fridge drawers were broken and fridge rusted. The dining tables chairs were dirty and filthy. The jacuzzi were broken, didn’t use, outdated! The views were beautiful. The carpet in main bedroom dirty ! That’s why I booked was the location. The property did have a lot of updates. But, It was a bunch of small fixes that needed to happen. The corner tops were dusty and soap were only in main restroom only. So, the kids loved it, and it was ok! Just wanted to be able to relax, was worried with all the discrepancies!

  - We’ve scheduled repairs for the shower door, fridge drawers, lighting, couch bed, and jacuzzi to ensure all amenities are in top shape, and we’re also reviewing the soap supply to make sure all restrooms are fully stocked for every stay.
  - Our cleaning crew has been reminded to pay extra attention to high-touch areas like carpets, corners, and dining chairs so every guest arrives at a spotless space.
