Don't believe their statements
2/5 Wow, how disappointing. House stunk when we walked in. Ultimately figured out that the smell was from cat urine. My allergies acted up almost immediately.
Well configured house and had such incredible upside but we were left disappointed at a minimum. That ends the positive comments
Now for the negative.
Other than the kitchen table, only 1 chair in the entire house.
No top sheets on any of the beds. Only a fitted sheet and a bedspread.
5 towels in the entire house
3 walk-ins closets, and 1 entry closet. Yet only 8 total hangars.
No silverware other than 2 forks, and about 15 plastic spoons
No glassware, only styrofoam cups.
No skillet, 1 sauce pan and one pot. Hard to cook breakfast without a skillet
No toaster although they claimed to have one
No carafe for the coffee maker, but they did have a coffee maker
Keurig knockoff would have been fine had there been power in the kitchen outlets, had to leave to get coffee
Dishwasher was inoperative and labeled as such, although checkout instructions say to load and run the dishwasher.
Kitchen faucet is installed backwards. Meaning handles move away from the sink, not towards.
Outdoor security camera seems almost prison like.
No latch on shower door. So you could not close the door all the way unless you were tall enough to reach over the frame and close it like my husband did.
No bathroom soaps/shampoos.
King Bed has a lean on one side, my husband had to move to the middle of the bed to keep from feeling like he was falling out of bed.
Here's the real big problem. ALL SMOKE DETECTORS WERE MISSING. ONLY THING THERE WAS THE MOUNTING PLATES AND WIRE CONNECTIONS, BUT NO SMOKE DETECTORS. NOT SURE THAT IS EVEN LEGAL.
I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because it seems like they might be trying but are out of their depth on what to do.
The other reason for 2 stars is that it was very convenient for where we were visiting.
I think next time we will opt to travel further rather than staying here again
