The cabin fit our family of 5 plus my in laws very comfortably as far as space goes. Overall, it was a fine experience but the cabin itself was run-down. The gutters were filled with leaves and weeds growing tall as you approach the house- it seemed as though no one had inhabited the place or checked up on it in a long time. According to the guest book, there had surprisingly been several other guests that stayed in recent weeks. No big deal, as we mostly spent our days in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and were busy during the days.A few things to know about so you’re prepared: There were no extra linens for the beds, so we didn’t have enough pillowcases for the pillows. On the King size bed, there were just two pillows. There were extra pillows in the closet but no pillowcases for them. The lights in the closets did not work, and the toilet in the master bedroom was running non-stop. The roof in the garage where the dart board is located started leaking, and while the landlord was responsive and sent someone out to look at it- there was nothing they could do while we were there. On a positive note, my teen sons enjoyed hanging in the hot tub and they loved the ping pong table, and having their own space in the basement. The bonfire pit is down a very treacherous walk downhill, so we ended up never making it down to have a fire.

The house was perfect! Clean, organized, comfortable. The hot tub was on and ready to enjoy. If in this area again I will stay here.

This home is wonderfully spacious! The kitchen had basic pans and utensils needed for meals, and the rooms were all large. BE CAREFUL - the drive way is MUCH steeper than we expected, depending on the vehicle and the way you come in the side nearest the mailbox isn't accessible for all vehicles. Small SUVs or small trucks would be best for travel to this location. The 2nd entrance was not very well defined on our trip, definitely recommend getting there during daylight hours. The house seemed like it had not been stayed in for awhile as there were a few things that could have been tided up prior to our arrival, but it wasn't bad- just not as good as it should have been. There are limited towels so if you plan on using the hot tub have extra or be prepared to do laundry(which they have on site). The hot tub is older, but does the job if wanting to relax. The porch off the living room was nice for hanging out and enjoying the evenings, spiders are really bad this time of year and we had to clean off some webs when we got there, but were good after that. The garage doors did not open and it smelt terrible so we did not use that space. The beds and linens are also older, again one of those not bad but not really good things. I would have liked to see extra blankets and pillows around. Overall we had a great time, this was perfect for some of the Roller Derby team while visiting Knoxville. I would stay here again, but would hope to see a little TLC put into the property.

Our stay here was nice! The hot tub and game room were highlights with our group. The walkway down to the fire pit is a bit steep, but so is the driveway (and all the neighborhood roads). Great location with easy access to attractions and grocery stores. Would stay again!
So glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for leaving a 5 star review. Hope you come back soon.
