This was a must stay cabin with a great price. Would say similar to glancing with all the great amenities and sleeping arrangements. Wonderful for large families! Highly suggest the nature walk yo the dock be for the less frail folks and older than toddlers. Our parents most enjoyed the stunning views from the top deck without needing to visit the dock at all. Great fishing! Truly phenomenal and private retreat from the hustle and bustle of the typical day to day.

Thank you for the great review! I’m glad you and your family enjoyed your stay. I know the walk to the dock can be challenging for some people but I tried to make it as easy as possible with the incline. It’s good exercise. Again I thank you and I am happy that you and your family chose my cabin and enjoyed your stay.
Tucked back off the “beaten path” far enough to be a bit secluded and very peaceful but not so far from town to be inconvenient. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay sitting on the deck and enjoying the colors and lots of birds.

We really enjoyed our quick weekend stay at Douglas Lake. The lake was starting to drain, but we were still able to enjoy a day on the boat. This house was perfect for us, 4 adults and 3 small kids. The kids loved the loft area with the trundle beds. It was a perfect setup for them. We enjoyed the lake views from the hot tub on the upper deck each evening in the chilly air. Overall, great stay. Thank you!

I would recommend this cabin rental to anyone who wants to have a great relaxing time with an outstanding view of the lake. We don’t have one bad thing to say. Everything was clean, and looked new and well kept. Enjoy your stay. We did!

Overall we had a good time.First the good The house had great views of the lakeHad plenty of room and accommodations for my whole familyThe decks were nice to sit on all day and take in the views and relax in hot tubThe TV's had netflix and plenty to watch for kids. The badThe beds were absolutely uncomfortableThe carpets were a little dingy There was no cabinet locks on cabinets for my one year old that likes to get into things so that would have been nice .Some of the spindles on the deck were loose so was afraid the whole time my boy would fall two stories if one gave out . The stair going down to the lake could use some attention were they have been washed out from rains .In the pictures of property showed a dart board that is no longer there little bumbed out about that as we were looking forward to doing that one of the reasons I chose this house .There was no fire pit like I thought there was supposed to be .And the chairs by the lake are so weathered I sat in one and it crumbledAir conditioning did not work very good at all.And lastly the 3rd night we were there the power went out at 9pm and stayed off till 3am no candles or back up lights we were in the dark for hrs .We made the best of it and made some memories but overall could have been much better.

From the Owner: My name and phone # are on the website on the welcome packet. I checked the spindles and the stairs, which I do regularly, and I found no loose spindles or stairs anywhere. You should have reached out to me and I would have taken care of it right away.
The resort has become a fire-safe zone due to multiple
wildfires in the last couple of years so I had to remove the fire pit.
That is posted in the cabin along with the resort rules. The dartboard
was removed due to wall damage from the darts and use.
