Mountain Safari HOUSE RULES&nbsp;
Thank you for choosing our property, Mountain Safari, for your home during your visit to the Smokey&nbsp; Mountains. We hope that you will enjoy your visit and that you will respect, adhere, and comply with the&nbsp; following House Rules. The House Rules are in place for the good of all guests and are meant to ensure&nbsp; that you and every future guest will experience full enjoyment and a wonderful experience of staying at Mountain Safari. If any issues arise during your stay, please contact the property manager for assistance (865) 407-7483.&nbsp;

Check IN 4:00 P.M. EST &ndash; The primary guest who originally booked the reservation is required to&nbsp; provide a valid driver&rsquo;s license or photo identification at check in. Owner must approve beforehand if&nbsp; driver&rsquo;s license is not in the name of the primary guest who originally booked the reservation.&nbsp;
Check OUT 10:00 A.M. EST &ndash; Wash all used dirty dishes, pots, pans, and utensils before leaving. Place&nbsp; all trash inside garbage cans. Close and lock all exterior doors and windows. Shut off all appliances&nbsp; before leaving. (During Holiday Season, unplug Christmas tree / decorations.) Notify designated&nbsp; Property Manager (865) 407-7483 to complete your check out.&nbsp;
NO PETS/ANIMALS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED &ndash; In order to protect guests with allergies, this is a&nbsp; PET/ANIMAL FREE property. Violation may result in immediate expulsion for unauthorized&nbsp; pets/animals entering the property if the situation is not remedied in a timely manner. If there is evidence of a pet, there will be a $500 fine.&nbsp;
POOL PASS &ndash; You are welcome to use the pool pass during your stay. The pool pass MUST be&nbsp; returned to the house before your departure for the next guest to enjoy. If the pool pass is not returned, you will be charged a $50.00 fee. Pools are open from Memorial&nbsp; Day through Labor Day.&nbsp;
NO UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS &ndash; All guests must be pre-registered (when booking) and paid for in&nbsp; full prior to check in. Only those guests pre-registered and paid for are allowed to stay on the property.&nbsp; No more than 5 PERSONS allowed to register as overnight guests on the property. Additional guests,&nbsp; including visitors, are not allowed on the property at any time during stay. Violation for unregistered&nbsp; guests may be grounds for immediate expulsion from property if the situation is not remedied within a&nbsp; timely manner. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. This policy will be strictly monitored and enforced.&nbsp; Please register ALL overnight guests in your group that will be staying on the property during the course&nbsp; of your visit.&nbsp;
NO SMOKING / VAPING INSIDE PROPERTY - Smoking, vaping, or the use of illegal substances is&nbsp; strictly PROHIBITED on the property. Smoking, including the use of vapes/e-cigarettes, inside the&nbsp; property may be considered grounds for IMMEDIATE EXPULSION. There will be a $500 cleaning fee for any smoking violation or signs and, or smells of smoking inside the property.&nbsp;&nbsp;
DO NOT LITTER &ndash; Please pick up all trash and dispose of properly (use trash cans). Do not leave&nbsp; trash/bags on lawn or any exterior deck.&nbsp;

&bull; WET TOWELS, WASHCLOTHS, &amp; CLOTHING / SWIMSUITS &ndash; DO NOT put wet towels, wet&nbsp; washcloths, or wet clothing / swimsuits on any furniture or wood floors. Hang wet items on towel racks&nbsp; in the bathrooms to dry while using the property.

DO NOT REMOVE ANY ITEM FROM PROPERTY &ndash; The furniture and fixtures inside and outside&nbsp; the property are inventoried before and after every stay, DO NOT remove any items from the property.&nbsp;
REPORT BROKEN or DAMAGED ITEMS to PROPERTY MANAGER IMMEDIATELY &ndash; If you&nbsp; break or damage property, please report any broken items or damaged property to the Property Manager (865) 407&ndash;7483. Additionally, any specialty shoes that might cause damage to flooring or decks are not&nbsp; allowed to be worn in the house or on the decks, including, but not limited to, cleats, steel toed shoes,&nbsp; hard soles, etc.&nbsp;
GRILLING &ndash; Empty COLD used coals into metal ash can located at grill. DO NOT move grill or grill&nbsp; on any exterior decks.&nbsp;
PLUMBING &ndash; Flush ONLY toilet paper and what nature provides. Plumbing stoppages and overflows&nbsp; may be caused by hygienic products, greases, or any other materials which are therefore prohibited from&nbsp; being flushed/poured into the plumbing system. Any plumbing stoppages may result in a $500 fine.
TV&rsquo;s, SOUND SYSTEM, &amp; BLU-RAY PLAYER &ndash; DO NOT misuse TV&rsquo;s, Blu-ray Players, Fire&nbsp; Sticks, or Theatrical sound system including overblowing speakers and reconfiguring of cables. DO&nbsp; NOT turn volume on sound system over 65%. If batteries in remotes are dead, please contact&nbsp; management for assistance. Any misuse of TV&rsquo;s, Blu-ray Players, Fire Sticks, or Theatrical sound system including overblown speakers and reconfiguration of cables will result in a $300 minimum charge.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
FIRE / FIREPLACE &ndash; Fireplace is ELECTRIC ONLY. No real fires or combustible materials allowed&nbsp; in fireplace. No fires are allowed on exterior decks or inside house. Fire in/on the property may be&nbsp; considered grounds for IMMEDIATE EXPULSION. Since property is electrically heated only and fires&nbsp; of any kind are strictly prohibited, guests are encouraged to come prepared for alternate means of heat in&nbsp; the case of extreme weather or an emergency.&nbsp;
HOT TUB &ndash; All guests must shower before and after hot tub use. Guests must adhere to rules posted at&nbsp; hot tub. DO NOT sit, stand, or misuse the hot tub cover in any way. If you have certain health&nbsp; conditions, do not use until consulting with your physician. DO NOT remove chemical flotation&nbsp; device from the hot tub at any time. If guests believe hot tub is low on chemical, contact management&nbsp; before use. After use, replace spa cover over hot tub and turn off high jets and light. Do not enter tub if&nbsp; temperature is over 104 degrees. For health and safety, guests are to limit soaking to no more than 15&nbsp; minutes twice per day. The use of alcohol, narcotics, and/or medications are not permitted when tub is in&nbsp; use. MAXIMUM OF 4 PERSONS ALLOWED. Damage done to the hot tub and, or cover will result in a $500 fine
FURNITURE &ndash; Indoor furniture is NOT ALLOWED to be taken outside the house onto any decks or&nbsp; the property. Only designated patio furniture is allowed outside the house.&nbsp;
AIR CONDITIONING / HEATING &ndash; In an effort to be energy efficient, we ask that guests observe the&nbsp; optimum temperature range of 67 to 75 degrees on the thermostat.&nbsp;
VEHICLES &ndash; Driveway parking only. Parking on front lawn is PROHIBITED.


SECURITY SYSTEM &ndash; Evidence of tampering with the security system/cameras may result in&nbsp; immediate EXPULSION.&nbsp;
BABY GATE &ndash; Baby gate is NOT provided. Guests must provide their own. This property is not&nbsp; recommended for guests with babies or small children.&nbsp;
LANDLINE TELEPHONE &ndash; Landline telephone is not supplied on this property.&nbsp;
INCLEMENT WEATHER &ndash; Weather changes quickly on the mountain, and guests are responsible for&nbsp; staying weather aware and exercising precaution in the case of inclement weather. If evacuation sirens&nbsp; sound, guests must heed the precaution and promptly evacuate the property. In some cases, due to fallen&nbsp; trees or wintry conditions, house maintenance may be unable to service you. In the case of wintry or&nbsp; extreme weather circumstances, guests are responsible for monitoring road conditions and exercising&nbsp; caution on the property and roadways.&nbsp;
POWER OUTAGES &ndash; Due to the nature of the mountains, power outages are common occurrences and&nbsp; could impact your stay. The property does not have any alternate sources of heat, water, or utilities in&nbsp; the event of an outage.&nbsp;&nbsp;
COOKING &ndash; Empty all grease into provided grease container. DO NOT pour grease down drains for&nbsp; any reason.&nbsp;
FIREWORKS / CAMPFIRE &ndash; Any type of fire, campfire, or open flames are not permitted anywhere on&nbsp; this property. Fireworks are not permitted for use anywhere on the property including decks, driveway,&nbsp; and lawn.&nbsp;
VACATION PROPERTY USAGE &ndash; This property is to be used solely as a vacation property by the&nbsp; guests registered at check in and may not be sublet. No other type of usage is permitted including, but&nbsp; not limited to, storage, extended residence, medical facility, or quarantine facility. Violation may result&nbsp; in immediate expulsion from the property.&nbsp;
INFECTIOUS VIRUSES AND DISEASES &ndash; For the safety of our management and cleaning staff in&nbsp; preventing the spread of infectious viruses and diseases (including the COVID-19 Virus), guests must&nbsp; keep garbage and discarded items that could pose any dangers to our staff properly disposed in the&nbsp; designated trash cans. The owners, management, and staff will not be held responsible for the&nbsp; contraction or spreading of infectious viruses and diseases. Guests and visitors are responsible for&nbsp; managing their own health and safety while staying on the property.&nbsp;
TOILET TISSUE / PAPER PRODUCTS &ndash; Due to fluctuation in availability of paper products, guests&nbsp; may be asked to provide their own toilet tissue and paper towels. Management will provide a&nbsp; complimentary roll while supplies last. Only toilet tissue is allowed to be flushed, no other materials are&nbsp; allowed.&nbsp;
WIFI - Guests must follow all federal, state, and local regulations regarding WIFI and internet usage.


WILDLIFE / NATURE &ndash; Guests must follow all protocols regarding wildlife and the natural elements.&nbsp; Owners will not be held responsible for damage to vehicles or injuries as a result of animals, insects,&nbsp; reptiles, and natural elements. You are in the mountains.&nbsp;
TOWELS / LINENS &ndash; Towels may not be removed from the premises for any reason, including, but not&nbsp; limited to, pool usage.&nbsp;
PROPERTY INSPECTIONS &ndash; The owner and/or property managers reserve the right to authorize a&nbsp; property/house inspection at any time deemed necessary by the owner/property manager.&nbsp;
NOISE/DISTURBANCES &ndash; We ask that you respect fellow cabin owners and/or renters in the&nbsp; neighborhood by being respectful while on the property. Refrain from playing loud music or creating&nbsp; any other kind of disturbance that will interfere with others in the area, especially after dark. Quiet hours&nbsp; on the mountain are from 10 PM to 8 AM.&nbsp;

PLEASE use the property respectfully and leave the property as you found it on your arrival. Enjoy the&nbsp; property, but please treat it as if it were yours. Guests are NOT required to wash dirty linen, towels, or&nbsp; washcloths prior to departure. All used linen, towels, and washcloths will be professionally cleaned by Property&nbsp; Management. Rental or use of Property shall constitute agreement by Guest(s) to adhere and comply with all&nbsp; house rules as stipulated herein. Failure to comply or adhere to any or all of the House Rules may be grounds&nbsp; for immediate expulsion from the property. By booking and entering this property, guest agrees that he/she has&nbsp; read, and agrees to follow and adhere to ALL House Rules during rental occupancy at Mountain Safari&nbsp; (Property) during the dates of guest rental occupancy. Property Owner and Property Manager will not be held&nbsp; responsible for any damages to guest&rsquo;s personal property or injuries sustained to guest(s) while on property.
